翡翠海灘度假村(Emerald Beach Resort)

Nice place- but my room NEVER got maid service and I had to fetch my own clean towels. They must charge extra for hot water-- since there was none in this shower-- despite calling the hotel's attention to it twice. I first tried to CALL reception but... the phone had no dial tone. Reception just said, "I only do the beach towels"... and never even recorded my complaint. Second try got as shrug and "I'll file for maintenance." Food was on par but you will wait forever for it to find you. Bottom line- on my "never again" list because of the ABSENCE of service and lack of basics (like a warm shower- or maid service). On a scale of 100 Emerald Beach gets a 15 for location (after a small deduction for airplane noise (the runway id literally at the foot of the property) and zeros for facility overall and service. Find another place to stay.

We were assigned a room with a significant water leak from the piping in the bathroom. We were assigned a second room with the same water leak issue. This water leaks are not minor. they were significant leaks that require the not be given out until a long term repair is made. Obvious that these leaks were have been there a long time. Do not accept a bottom level floor at this resort, room 3102 -3106

This resort was gorgeous (a little older but well cared for) and we loved how secluded it was. What more can you ask for in a resort? Had a spectacular ocean view from every room, amazing clean white sand beach with crystal clear water, an awesome pool, good food and cocktails and great staff at the restaurant and bar. Will definitely be returning...

I booked this hotel as a one night layover before heading to St John for a week. I made the rookie mistake of booking without reading any reviews. After reading the latest reviews I was nervous this place was going to be awful. The latest reviews couldn’t be more wrong! The room was perfectly clean, AC worked perfectly and so did the hot water. The restaurant and bar were perfect for dinner, drinks and breakfast. I couldn’t be happier with my choice for convenience to the airport and comfort for a one night layover.

I usually don’t leave reviews but this place was amazing! The condo we stayed in was the most well stocked I have ever seen! They offered beach toys, sun screen, towels and even had swim diapers for the littles! The kitchen had it all! Well decorated and the best beds ever! Steps from the best beach with great restaurants/ bar on site. Will definitely be back! ❤️

I’ve stayed here multiple times over the last 10 years. Seems every time it goes a bit downhill. For example, running out of eggs for breakfast, no chairs on half the beach, and rooms that need work or an exterminator and now not being able to charge items to your room. It a basic hotel if that’s what you are looking for but falls shorts as far as a resort I’d concerned. Beautiful beach, nice pool and the snorkeling is ok though.

We never had any hot water in our shower. I called down to the front desk multiple times and they told me someone would be right up to look at it and no one ever came. Finally by day 3 someone came to look at it but our shower water was still cold. The ocean water was warmer than shower water. Very disappointing that we paid a lot of money to stay here and couldn’t even get a warm shower during our stay.

Property has an excellent location and beach. It should not be selling rooms in a building under construction leading to power outages, no hot water, noise, and dirt. Staff is blissfully ignorant and/or doesn’t care. Check in process is not customer friendly - use an app to check in when staff is right in front of you. I give the location and beach a 5 of 5. The issues overall make it a 2 of 5 - I would avoid staying here.

The property is in a good location on the beach, next to airport with a bar and pool. However the bed was not comfortable, the pillows was not the size for a king bed, the shower head is not adjustable and the shower didn’t seem as clean.
