We stayed at St Moritz Youth Hostel for a night after taking the Glacier Express from Zermatt. One might think lesser of a hostel as compared to a hotel but after our night stay at St Moritz Youth Hostel, I found myself truly underestimating the service a hostel can offer, much unbeknownst to a general opinion. And we owe thanks to Iris and her team’s wonderful hospitality and service, the stay was a memorable and wonderful experience. It was the last night of our honeymoon trip in Switzerland. Although it was snowy, sheer cold and our skins were shivering from the brr conditions, the kindness and hospitality by Iris and her team who went above and beyond truly, exudes warmth from within, which made our experience an exceptional one. One that would etched in our memories for many decades to come. We felt that this hostel provides extremely good value and is only a 10 mins bus ride away from the train station. The bus stop is right outside the hostel so it’s convenient even with big luggages. We bought 24 hours tickets at the station for the bus ride. Hostel is clean and has a good welcoming vibe. Although we stayed in the shared bathroom, bathroom was clean and near, didn’t have to wait long to use. There was also a basin in the room so it’s quite convenient. You don't have to step out to brush teeth or do any washing. Do bring your own soap, u can borrow a hair dryer from reception. We had dinner at the hostel, it was amazing. Breakfast was wonderful too. I would highly highly recommend this place to stay , you are in safe hands and well taken care of by the awesome team! They are patient and answer all your questions and share with you more about how to get around. St Moritz is a small town, but the experience and takeaways we obtained from our stay, is far greater, significant than the place. This in my opinion, is what you call travelling for an experience, with an experience. Thank you so much to Iris and the team (sorry didn’t manage to get your names!!)!! Superb is an understatement.

I have stayed at the Hauserhotel several times over the past 5 years and it continues to be one of the best mid range hotels in Switzerland. The welcome, the location, the comfort are all superb and I recommend anyone coming to St Moritz to come and stay here. It is that simple, you will not be disappointed and only impressed. Beautiful art nouveau, old world charm. Lobby bar has been updated and was nice. Our room was upgraded to a 2 room suite with lovely big windows. We had an expansive view of mountains and loved we could sleep with windows open. No real restaurant but did have a breakfast buffet. Town was pretty dead this time of year; imagine the beauty and charm is more pronounced in winter.

Very charming hotel with exceptionally friendly and serviceminded staff. Good breakfast and a cozy bar by the fireplace. We bought ski-passes through the reception and got a really good discount compared to online prices. The ski/shuttlebus stops right outside the hotel. In addition to their 3 in-house restaurants (which all served lovely food), they also had a pop-up fondue restaurant where we got the best cheesefondue ever. They also provided a wide range of wines and beers. The rooms are big enough and the beds provided a good night sleep. Highly recommended place to eat and sleep.
