特里桑頓飯店(Hotel Tresanton)

From our initial welcome to our dining experience in the restaurant and our lovely room, nothing was too much for the friendly and attentive staff. They are the hotel’s greatest asset and made our stay really relaxing and enjoyable. We had high expectations and we were not disappointed by our mini break at The Tresanton.

My husband and I had a rare day off from running our village store in Veryan and so decided to have lunch . The food was very good ,hot and well cooked . What impressed us most were the reception and serving staff , professional ,relaxed snd friendly ,all a real credit to the hotel . We will definitely return .

I have stayed at this hotel in St Mawes Cornwall 7 times. It never disappoints and you feel like you have arrived home the moment you hand over the car keys to the ever professional concierge team. Karen the GM has been steering this very special ship for years and it shows. Staff have been retained year after year and you meet them again like friends. The rooms are comfortable and homely, the food is excellent and not over manipulated just fresh and delicious. Eating breakfast or having tea on the terrace over looking the terrace must rate as one of the world’s greatest hotel views. Olga and Alex Polizzi are supreme professionals. I have stayed in all three of their hotels. I did though miss the berries at breakfast, there were strawberries but we could have had raspberries and blueberries as well. I was told it was a seasonal thing. Well they had chopped pineapple and kiwi fruit on the menu and that isn’t even British. There were strawberries though. The hotel is also becoming a little tired. The outside chairs are going rusty, the squabs ripped and soiled, the large umbrella has holes and the carpets are looking worn. The hotel needs a refurbishment. Our bed was sagging (the mattress) and the pillows tired. Please dont let this treasure of a hotel go down hill as I adore it.

We have eaten at Hotel Tresanton many times over the years. We had supper on the Terrace today (05.06.24). Florin looked after us the whole time. He has a lovely smile, very smart in his appearance and is amazing at his job. We cannot fault him at all. We also had a lovely supper too. Hotel Tresanton is certainly the best place in St Mawes to eat. See you tomorrow.

We came here for my husbands 70th Birthday and I have to say it was a very special stay in beautiful surroundings. When we arrived after a long journey we were met in reception with a warm welcome by the lovely Sue and another young receptionist whose name I unfortunately did not recall.....Very helpful when we needed ideas on places to visit. I cannot fault this hotel it had everything you could wish for apart from the weather!! As it was my husbands birthday we were given a complimentary bottle of champagne, totally unexpected but very welcome. Our room was beautifully and comfortable and it had the most beautiful view of the sea. St Mawes itself is a beautiful village with a lovely little boutique and coffee shops We stayed at the hotel for dinner for three nights and the food was excellent as too were the waiting staff especially Oscar who I feel deserves a mention. Thank you once again and we'll definitely be back!

Hotel is lovely and in a beautiful location. However pluming could do with being looked at. (Cold tap on bath didn't work and problems with toilet flushing at one point). The resturant was it has to be said a let down. The food was uninspired and rather tasteless. Its a shame because it has so much potential and when you're paying these sort of prices you expect better.

Expected so much more after years of watching the Hotel inspector on TV. Staff welcoming Food average and probably over priced Restaurant area lacked warmth and a bit outdated as well as filthy light fittings. Tried it but won’t be going back anytime soon

The service is just beautiful, an attentive, smart and incredibly polite team look after every need possible. Valet parking, water for the dog, plumping up pillows and so on.. the setting will simply knock your socks off. The food is delicious. Super fresh, clean tasting and beautifully crafted. A huge well done to everyone there. The hotel decor is so tasteful. Elegant, understated and gentle.

What a great hotel. Our room was immaculate with a sea view and nice and warm considering the weather! Lovely dinner and excellent breakfast. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff from the minute I called to make the booking to checking out. Especially Lydia and Dragos in the dog club. Will definitely return
