蒙特布勞城堡飯店(Château de Montbrault)

Excellent accueil de la part des hôtes, tous les deux forts sympathiques. Lieu magnifiquement restauré et décoré. Un séjour beaucoup trop court pour réellement pouvoir profiter des lieux. Sans oublié la brocante du château où nous avons trouvé notre bonheur.

What a beautiful place to stay. The decor was interesting and suited the chateau well. The host was very friendly, the rooms were very big and the bathroom was too. The bed was a beautiful 4 post and was very comfortable. Would stay here again and recommend. Great base for visiting Fougeres which has a great castle and town surrounding it.

We had a quick night stop at this beautiful chateau and wished we could have stayed longer. We received a lovely warm welcome and managed to converse in broken French/English! The chateau is beautifully stylish, decorated in a quirky fashion - I can’t imagine how long it takes to dust it all! Our room was stunning with 3 windows looking out over the beautiful countryside and the pool and breakfast was simple but perfectly adequate.

My wife found this place as part of a road trip. It’s simple, when we discovered we decided to treat each other as “marquis and say “vous”. The decoration XVIII is totally accurate ; we enjoyed a complete breakfast 🥞 in the main room. And the 10 hectares of forest and garden represent such a relaxing and natural space, together with the swimming pool, for a unique moment. Erwann, the host, warmly shared his passion for history.
