足跡海灘度假村(Footprints Beach Resort)

Das Footprint ist (aufgrund z.Zt. mangelnder Flüge) nicht leicht zu erreichen. Für uns war es leider nur ein Zwischenstation weiter nach Sibuyan. Mit der Frühmaschine von Manila nach Caticlan, dann mit der Local ferry (bangkas=adventure) rüber nach St.Fe (2h), dann mit Tricycle 2h zum Footprint, ca. 2 km nördlich von St.Andres im Norden von Tablas gelegen. In der Nähe ist nichts, wenn man herkommt, verbringt man seine Zeit auch hier. Gerne wären wir länger geblieben als 2 Nächte (die aufgrund der frühen Abreise nach S.Agustin eigentlich nur 1,5 waren). Owen, Frau & Family haben hier eine wundervoll-zauberhaft-relaxt-individuelle Atmosphäre geschaffen, die natürlich auch von der Abgeschiedenheit lebt. Wir waren im Ocean Breeze Bungalow 4, ein paar Schritte zum gepflegten (!) Strand, man kann auch bei Ebbe schwimmen !!! Strandspaziergang nach Norden vorbei an Fischerbooten, besonders am Nachmittag eine herrliche Stimmung und tolles Licht, erinnerte uns an magische Momente in Indochina. Insgesamt hatten wir den Eindruck, dass hier sehr viele konkrete Erfahrungen eingeflossen sind: so viele Details, die den Gesamteindruck ausmachen. Angefangen von der "Strandgut-Cabana" am Beach über individuelle Sitzmöglichkeiten (Sundowner), überdachte Areas am Beach, das stimmungsvolle Resto mit Bar. Das Resto sollte eigentlich getrennt bewertet werden ;-) Top Qualität, lokale Tradition trifft auf Praxis (tenderloin bei Beef Gerichten). Das Ganze zu fairen Preisen, auch bei den Getränken. Zimmer: top, Wohlfühlfaktor hoch, gutes Bad, fridge, klasse Licht, Aussendusche mit Fusswasserhahn, Details top bis zum Besen für den Sand auf der Terrasse & Sonnenblenden. Das Ganze hat eine "Mini-Dorf-Struktur". Das macht es nochmal sehr sympathisch und gibt einen gewachsenen Eindruck. Und: das gesamte Personal ist einfach nur top !!!!!!!! Fazit: super Tipp für alle, die etwas Besonderes suchen, ideal als Zwischenstopp nach Romblon / Sibuyan, wir empfehlen aber mindestens 3 Nächte. Preis/Leistung auch sehr gut !

We had the best time with Owen and Anjie. The Footprints resort setting was great. It felt like staying with a family (but a very nice and fun one!) We stayed in an air-conditioned bungalow facing the sea. The room was very clean and comfortable. The food (and cocktails!) were very good, the staff was super friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the weather was not always good (we went in January, probably the end of the rainy season) but Owen and Anjie were amazing hosts and helped us have a great time anyway. They embraced us as part of their family and even took us to tour part of the island.

Tranquility at its best. If you ever want to get away from it all and relax at a beautiful resort this is it. I had been in Phillipines for 7 days stayed at 2 different hotels and this was the only hotel with hot water and a blow drier.. Yes!!

The best hosts in the best resort ＜3 The perfect place to unwind and relax with spacious rooms right by the lovely beach. The food is great and the atmosphere is so chill that it’s impossible not to relax.

What a great place!! Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 3 nights and could not have been happier with everything. 10/10 for the accommodation, restaurant, bar, beach and last but not least the staff! Owen and Angie were so nice and helpful with everything, the Air condition bungalow was perfect for us. Clean and spacious and great water power in the shower 😁 Food at the restaurant was so nice, the Chicken Adobo and Chicken Sisig were one of the best Philippine dishes we had during our one month stay in Philippines. Highly recommend for any traveller that wants to kick back, enjoy the beach relax and have the option to go explore beautiful Tablas island. Looking forward to coming back again to this great place and then for longer stay! Best, Eythor and Kolfinna

Some improvements have been made to the resort since I last stayed here in 2020 eg marquee in the garden area for group seating and a volleyball net on the beach and a floating pontoon that you can swim out to.This time round I booked one of the four beachfront units with balcony, table and chairs. My room was spacious, modern looking and clean. Lighting throughout more than adequate.Everything worked fine. Plenty of shelving to lay clothes as well as coathangers. The shower recess is segregated. Water from the shower was lukewarm but the water pressure was excellent. The food at the restaurant is above mainland prices but that is to be expected when you are staying at a secluded location on an island with hundreds of metres of beach to yourself. The other couple of resorts to the north appeared closed to me leaving Footprints as the only viable option.Some may say it looks pricey but for me the price point is reasonable when you add everything up for what this resort has to offer. It is a holiday experience you won't forget which is why I returned as part of my 'revisiting some of my favourite places in the Philippines' trip. The owners Owen and Angie cannot be more friendly and helpful to their guests. Their two young children and four dogs make up what feels like you are staying with family friends. Overall, an experience to be experienced.

Stunning spot right on the beach, on the western side of Tablas. It is family-run by Angie and Öjvind, with very nice and helpful staff. I had the best X-mas in many, many years with the family, another family (Nicks) and staff. With turkish peppar-shots, glögg and entertainment. Will definitely try to come back ( 5 years Owen!?😉) A very big Salamat Po! 🤗
