My trip to the Hilton in Rochester, Minnesota was amazing. The entire staff is amazing. Fabulous people each and everyone of them. The hotel is clean, comfortable just like being at home. Everyone goes the extra mile for you . I would recommend this hotel to everyone. You definitely won’t be sorry. They treat you like family and in my case better than family. The valet parking crashed our car, he said he would talk to the rental car company two days after the crash. They would not be responsible about it and acted very unprofessional about it. The valet parking manager wanted to offer us to pick us up at the car rental company to make up things cause he did not want the hotel manager to know about it. We went to the front desk and asked if somebody got a report about it to which they responded that they didn't and that they will let the hotel manager know. Nobody got in touch with us, asked us afterwards what happened or if any extra charges were billed to us NOTHING. The room cleanliness was disappointing, we asked for extra towels (our room was double and only got 1 body towel) to which they told us the house keeping personal was not available and the valet man brought one more towel and threw it at me. The hotel is in great conditions, very new and modern. The staff was the dissapointing part.

My husband had surgery at the Mayo Clinic and we were back and forth many times. Your valet service was excellent. The entire staff was great. Thanks so much. It means a lot especially in hard times when people are kind and helpful!

We ended up having to stay for a while at this hotel. But they made our stay really pleasant. Unfortunately this is the nicest hotel in the area. The only complaints I have were that the beds were hard as a rock and the pillows were as flat as cardboard. The soap options were super drying to my skin which was awful considering my skin was already so dry from the cold windy air. Otherwise the pros outweighed the cons. Also the restaurant in the walk way to Mayo is amazing they have doughnuts to die for.

Overall, the hotel was beautiful and conveniently located within walking distance to several good restaurants and the Mayo Clinic. The room was very clean and nice. For the most part, the staff were very kind and helpful (including valets). When we were initially checking in, after being given our room key, we decided to just double-check with the front desk person if the room we were given was next to the elevator. For noise reasons, we typically ask to be away from the elevator. The person (I think the front desk supervisor) replied "yes it is" and when we asked if we could be in another room instead, he said "next time if you have a preference you should note it on your reservation." This made us feel like it was our fault we were put in a bad room instead of simply saying "it is, but I'm happy to put you in another room instead." He did put us in another room which was nice. However, it just left us with a bad feeling as if we were in the wrong for asking for a quiet room. I have personally worked at the front desk of a hotel and have had plenty of people be straight-up rude to me, but I did my best to still be kind and calm. What we asked was a simple request and we felt we were met with rudeness. I also used to try and put people in the best room available when I worked at a hotel, as I wanted them to have the best possible experience. The hotel appeared to have a low occupancy and it was mid week, so a room away from the elevator seemed like a small ask.

This hotel is in a great location in Rochester, walking distance to Mayo Clinic and the convention center. Skywalks made it for easy logistics having competitions at the Civid center. Use Ramp 6 for parking as it is connected to the hotel. One huge drawback was that pool area has no supervision and no signs to at least deter parents from having their young children crowd the hot tubs or play in the steam rooms. There should be signs warning of steam dangers (yes we shouldn’t need it but parents do not care these days) there is potential for a child to get hurt as they would open/close doors and stand next to the steam vents to see who gets steamed first. This is also a potential liability for the hotel. Hot tub clearly states 5 yet I counted 8-10 kids under 12 while adults were on their phones. The hotel itself is is lovely and would stay here again.

Amenities and service were outstanding! Food was hot and delicious from room service. Valet was speedy and friendly.

Check in was easy, hotel is very nice & clean, easy walk to Mayo Clinic, and Pittsburgh Blue restaurant attached to the lobby was great as well.

Outstanding hotel! Staff was warm and welcoming. Rooms were beautifully appointed and comfortable. easy walk to all things Mayo and great restaurants.
