The Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center, Curio Collection by Hilton

This is an amazing hotel with so much history and charm! It’s always a pleasure to visit. We stayed there to visit with with family and had a wonderful New Year’s Eve meal at the Regency! Wonderful! Our server, Caleb, was outstanding. A very memorable night!

Loved the ambiance of the whole place being an older hotel and being so close to the downtown...would have liked the pool to be accessible (and warm) and the hot tub to have been hotter and bigger but oh well! The acoustics in the bar on the main floor are hard to deal with with a huge group of people in there but it is all a great hotel and has some great qualities. The breakfast is well worth it and lovely.

Beautiful historic hotel right in the downtown area walkable with very good restaurants. We had a comfortable king size bed with comfortable sheets and pillows. Room was clean, nicely, decorated, just a little crowded with furniture. Restaurant food very good and nice bar with live music. We would definitely stay here again

The property was not very clean. One out of three elevators was disabled during entire stay. Room has not been very well cleaned with debris on floor and three pairs of shoes from prior guest still in closet/armoire. The only outlet in bathroom was not functioning making it impossible to operate hair dryer resulting in my wife having to use TV in main room like a mirror. At $500 per night not what I had expected.

Dislikes: Check-in is 4pm; we arrived at 6pm and were told to wait 15-20 for our room. Why wasn't the room ready? There is no laundry room available for guest use; when traveling w/an athlete, laundry facilities are necessary. AC is not easily controlled...would not drop below 65 setting. Likes: The staff (gentleman) who installed a safety seat/chair in the shower for my son was friendly and very efficient. The valet-men were kind. Room was clean.

Every chance I get, I stay at Hotel Roanoke. The staff are always so helpful and polite. The valet is efficient. The skywalk to downtown Roanoke is a perfect little stroll to dozens of restaurants, pubs and nightlife. The spa is wonderful and relaxing. I can’t recommend a weekend here enough.

The property is beautiful. The rooms are very nice, neat and clean. The staff was very friendly except for one bartender in the lounge. She had a terrible attitude. Very unfriendly. We enjoyed our stay tremendously!

Tho the front desk was a struggle and was not very friendly or informative of hotel, or charges they put on my card, the options for food in area and other things was awesome.

Staying here was the completion of a longtime wish. Suzanne was especially helpful in checking us in and helping us navigate. We also appreciated parking our RV conveniently outside the back door.
