Zum Hotel, das über sehr schöne,individuelle Zimmer verfügt, gehört ein schönes,kleines Restaurant. Wir waren die Einzigen Gäste und wurden aufs Beste verwöhnt. Dazu die eigenen Weine. Besonders der Rote ist zu empfehlen! Aber auch das Essen und der Service waagrecht exzellent!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this historical hotel, and loved exploring the fascinating places of interest in Riversdale.

The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The service received was of good quality ad high valued privacy. The stay was thoroughly enjoyed.

The beautiful facility is authentically renovated in the old part of town right next to the river. It is beautiful! The food was exquisite and the service absolutely impeccable. Staff were so friendly and welcoming . There are also various little touches such as a little sherry in the room, handmade chocolates and good toiletries! This was our second time there and I will definitely recommend this place to everyone.

The room was unfortunately not prepared for load shedding, was left in the dark and could not work. Was not informed of load shedding schedule on arrival. The room was neat and welcoming. The callback on a item I forgot was much appreciated.

We were a cycling tour group and were very happy with our relaxed stay. The rooms were great, the gardens beautiful, the staff very accomodating even providing a full breakfast much earlier than normal hours! Highly recommended!

We stayed at De Doornkrall on our road trip up the Garden Route. The room that we were given was enormous. There was a sitting area with 2 couches off the bedroom. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel as well. Both meals were tasty. We enjoyed a private wine tasting with cheese and crackers. We did not have time to explore the town, so I can not comment on it.

always a great stay a suggestion maybe consider a HALAAL breakfast..other than that,a great place definitly a favourite amongst our OPENSERVE staff friendly staff ...rooms very cosy and filled with warmth thanks again ...

We drive past Riversdale 5 times a year and never stop there. This time I had a car breakdown and was "forced" to spend 2 nights waiting for a part to arrive....and what an awesome experience I had! The room was fantastic, the onsite restaurant was 5 star, but most importantly the service from all the staff was out of this world! Such friendly and helpful people - I will make it a mandatory stop every time we pass in the years to come! Highly recommended!!
