海勒尼海灘飯店(Heleni Beach Hotel)

wat gedateerd,maar super proper,ligbed aan het zwembad,top!ligging alles in de buurt,personeel super vriendelijk,en prijs was echt goedkoop,dus wij komen zeker terug,ze doen hun best,beetje per beetje te renoveren,supermarkt recht over de deur,en cake box,lekkere broodjes enz.

Anche con tutto lo spirito di adattamento che uno può avere, non vedrei nessun motivo per soggiornare in questo hotel. Si tratta di un albergo a gestione familiare, noi avevamo una stanza al piano terra (l’hotel faceva parte di un pacchetto a cui abbiamo aderito su PiratinViaggio); in una settimana non è mai stata pulita, portavano il cambio degli asciugamani, abbiamo dovuto chiedere il gel doccia e lo shampoo. Struttura molto vecchia, sporca, la nostra stanza aveva un terrazzino, che dava su un piccolo giardino pieno di sporco e credo anche di animali. Una volta siamo stati visitati da un grosso scarafaggio. Non da ultimo: l’aria condizionata è a pagamento, il telecomando viene dato alla modica cifra di 8€ al giorno. Ho fatto notare che questa sia una cosa inusuale, mai trovato un trattamento di questo tipo in un hotel. Da evitare!

We flew out at the end of June , i actually wish i didnt have to come home. From the minute we arrived the two girls on reception were so helpful smiling and friendly, with an excellent use of english. We settled in to our room ,we where room only so just at the side there were 4 little apar**ents , with a little table and 2 chairs outside. Its in the perfect position this hotel and i would go back in a heartbeat. About 3 min stroll to the beach, restaurants and bars seconds away but not noisy at all. The room was cleaned daily with clean towels and bedding by two lovely girls always smiling. Ok so in some of the reviews it says the rooms are dated, but to be perfectly honest, what do you want for the price.for me it was spotless ,i didnt see one roach in the 10 days we where there. The pool area is gorgeous with breeze from the beach. cleaned daily so relaxing. There are little supermarkets dotted along the *****, or you can walk up to the village beautiful square with coffee shops and some hidden streets and restaurants. The other lady on reception i think maybe the owner also fantastic english speaking, nothing was too much trouble for her, she explained where the the things we asked about where. So everyone I love your hotel ,and i will be back most definitely. Thank you so much for my break that was so very needed. Alex and Shaun xx

Very simple hotel, the furniture is too old, breakfast is too simple and small. Very nice location next to the beach though. I cannot recommend unfortunately. But it was a good value for money during a high traveling season

They should definitely change something in the showers, every time you take one you flood the bathroom; and the rooms facing the street are quite noisy at night... apart from that, the place is really nice and clean, and very close to the beach; the staff is super friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is quite ok. Perfect solution if you're on a budget!

A good experience. The staff was super friendly, and talkative. The room was okay, quite small, but with a new bed. It’s very clean! The hotel was under construction while I was there, so the pool was closed. It’s super close to the beach, which is a stone beach. Also a big minus that airconditioner isn’t free, it costs 7 euros pr day

We have just returned from five nights in Heleni Beach Hotel. We would not go back to this hotel. We would 100% go back to town however. Firstly we bought the holiday being sold a hotel with a pool, sunbeds and pool bar. The images attached to this review show the current state of the pool area. Secondly one staff member, possibly the manager with the way he was talking, was rude and made us feel very unwelcome. This was due to getting hair dye on the towels after my partner washed her hair. We were stopped coming in after a lovely day and made to feel like we had caused damage to their property. Even asked us to go to the shop and buy him more towels. My partner has dyed her hair for years, so we know that it washes out and we have never had complaints from the other hotels we have stayed in. When we asked for the towels back, to avoid getting dye on new towels, we were told no because they hadn't even been washed! So they just saw the dye and refused to clean them as normal and tried to make us go shopping for more. The staff member then told me "don't let your partner do it again", which I think is digusting, as though I should be controlling what she can and can't do. I told him that she will be washing her hair again, his response was to buy more towels to replace them! This is such a shame, because the town, shops restaurants, beaches, bars, locals are amazing. Other than being made to feel unwelcome in the hotel after this issue, we loved the location and would go back... just not to this hotel.
