雷克雅未克鄰近Reykjavik Family park and Zoo的飯店

We stayed for 3 nights b&b in April. We arrived early and our allocated rooms weren't all ready but the reception staff amended our room so that we could check in. We also received a room upgrade to a balcony room on the top floor. The room was spacious, good size bathroom and comfortable bed. There was plenty of wardrobe space but no drawers to store smaller items. There was just one issue with the rooms on the top floor, which was they were very hot. Even with the radiators turned off, the staff advised that the heat from the lower rooms rise and can make them warm. There are just 2 small top windows so didn't allow much cooler air to circulate. There was a good selection at breakfast with English and continental breakfast options, tea, coffee, water and fresh fruit juices. The restaurant food was also good and comparable prices to in Reykjavik centre. Good service from the breakfast and restaurant/ bar staff. We used the spa on one of the days and enjoyed this. There are seperate saunas in the male and female changing rooms, with joint hot tub (not jacuzzi), warm small pool and small cold plunge pool. There are seating areas in the pool area with drink service. Towels and robes are provided. The hotel is located outside of Reykjavik centre and about 30 mins walk into the centre. There are a few supermarkets locally, we didn't find any within a short walking distance but there might be some around. The hotel benefits from free parking right outside and we didn't have an issue with the space being full. This was a good location for us as a base to explore the island. The hotel was clean and well equipped to meet our needs. The only issue was the heat in the bedrooms, but apart from that we had an enjoyable stay.

Everything was perfect. The room size is excellent. We stayed at another place in Iceland before coming to this hotel. The best part was the water from the tap; unlike the other place, there was no unpleasant smell due to sulfur content at Aska. I would rebook, if I am visiting Iceland again. The best part about Iceland is, bus stops are near to all the hotels.

位置特別好，就在市政大廳旁邊。事實上，機場大巴的一號停車點就在市政大廳，走路三分鐘。旁邊有飯店，超市，非常方便。出門正對面一直走就能到著名的哈爾格林姆斯教堂，左邊是碼頭，可以坐在那裡等極光。房間不小，早餐非常豐盛。認真吃一頓能頂一天。前台也特別熱情，問點兒事情講得特別詳細。

Guy and girl working inside here are good people doing their best. Premises are good But. WARNING!!!!: the owner is horrible. She has really bad business manners, generally puts her clients in very bad monetary situations sometimes (check here and TripAdvisor for these reviews and you won't choose to book here I'm sure, I wish I had done that) Om my arrival day I was locked out at 2.30 am because the hotel didn't send the entry code to me and THERE WAS NO EMERGENCY NUMBER TO CALL. If says on the website after 21.00 you check in with a code. But no code in my email. I had to pay over 200€ total extra to go to another room, by taxi. Since I had an E-sim I could Google for a taxi and call via Skype luckily because the streets were empty and no public wifis. Standing in arctic winds alone in Iceland! All the hotel's fault. She tries to tell me I should have emailed them about a late arrival which there was NO INFO about in the confirmation and generally just blames me for the whole situation when clearly its the fault of the hostel. Horrible owner. She could have given me a refund for the first night as I politely asked but she refuses and simply blames me and *******. Horrible manners not caring about anything except some 50€ for 1 night Please use your money better and book B47 bus hostel instead-much better people working there, perfect for all excursions and transfers etc. Maria in B14 does not take care of the guests if something happens so better to go to a different place to avoid being treated horribly losing your money. So go to B47 instead.

I booked this hostel because it is cheap and the amenities are exactly what you expect! It was unfortunate my room was right opposite the main entrance along with the toilet and shower, in which there was only one shower. The best thing about this hostel is the location, you are right next to the famous church in Reykyavik! When I checked in there was a place to leave my bag before I could get into my room as I arrived early this was very handy. On my last night, I went to the front desk to ask for help booking my return bus to the airport as I was told by Flybus that my hotel/hostel would help organise this by phoning them. I went up to the three men behind the desk on the night of the 15th of September, and asked if they could help me organise my Flybus return at bus stop 8 for the next again morning. They looked very confused as I explained that the woman had said they would have been able to help me, then another man dismissed me and said they had no affiliation with Flybus and that I would have to go online and do this myself. I am unsure why they had to be affiliated with Flybus to help me phone the company as I did not want to make an international call on my mobile. I did not want to start an argument so I left the desk feeling very anxious about how I was going to get to the airport, I do not believe the staff cared. The wifi did not work in my room that night so I decided to sit in their empty restaurant to use the wifi and calm down but one of the men came up to me straight away and told me that I couldn't sit there as it was only for people that were eating at the restaurant. He did not ask me if I wanted anything to eat at their restaurant. I informed him of the problem with the wifi, they did not appear to believe me. They went back and forth to check it but ultimately they could not fix it and by that point I did not want to interact with the staff any longer as they made me feel very uncomfortable. I sat in the kitchen which was nice. This interaction was unfortunate as it was the only time I asked for help, I got the feeling they would not be able to recommend or assist with anything. I would not recommend this hostel to anyone who is visiting Reykjavik for the first time.
