夏季廣場飯店(Summer Place Hotel)

This place is an absolute dump. There was no one at reception -- instead there were labeled envelopes with keys for the anticipated guests. What a complete lack of security and consideration for your patrons. Because of this, we decided to not even stay. Before we made the absolute decision, we checked the room and it looked (and smelled) like someone just rolled out of that bed. The electronics (refrigerator, microwave, window A/C) were unplugged, and the room was just generally unappealing.

Hotel was super convenient to beach access. However owner/manager was rude. Our room had sand on the floor, dust all over the desk and the bathroom hadn't been cleaned well prior to our visit. Very good price if you are planning on staying out of the hotel room. Can't imagine how families would stay here. Just the bed and bathroom was fine for two people wouldn't recommend for more than a night or two. Over all I'd give this place a 2 out of five stars. Two for convenience.

Rude, unprofessional owner/manager. Only once have I seen him with a shirt on when dealing with customers. Low class. When inquiring how the on-site parking works, he says, “OK, I’m going to talk to you like you’re stupid, is that OK?” I did nothing to bring this on and I know it’s not just me that gets this treatment. I paid over $600 for my stay and get this treatment. Read the complaints. The only things going for this dump are the low price and central location. Walls are paper thin. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money somewhere else.

The place is absolute dump. Room so small i could not pull the chair from the desk. I could follow conversation in the adjoining room. Dirty. Paid 3 nights but left 1 day early as this was so bad.

I would not stay here again. No Cable TV , No Internet. I had to pay for a residencial parking fee daily and I found one parking about 10 min away. The place is not welcoming, no house keeping. Extremely Cramped bedroom quarter. Outdated appliances and dirty. Broken and not functioning windows blinds.NO PRIVACY. Unsafe Entrance Door. A/C in bedroom malfunctioning Bathroom vent broken A LOT OF FLIES Inside the apartment. Futon was very dirty also a area rug. strong prevalent musty odor. The bedroom mattress extremely uncomfortable.

Beyond sketchy. Paid over $180 for a room that was dirty and old. The walls and doors are paper thin. The scene is super super sketchy, people doing ***** and yelling/fighting at 1 am…. to the point that I feared for our safety more than once during the night!!!

It is what it is, cheap room and a roof. Dingy dorm room vibes with a touch of halfway house. Other visitors (possibly residents) yelling in the hallway and slamming their doors well into the evening made sleeping rather difficult. Plenty of no smoking signs but with the open doors and plethera of smokers, the smoke smell definitely waffted down the hallways and into the rooms. The cheap price is not worth the dirty feel and ambiance. Pay a little more and stay somewhere else or at BNB.

This place is horrible. Worst place ive ever stayed in. We left after about 20 minutes. Didnt even bother asking for a refund just wanted to get out of there

This is honest, horrible and great property. The bad first The bed was broken and caved in the center. The trim and wall were all different and off center. The AC turned on but didn’t really cool very well. The television is like a foot long and only had one channel, nothing else. Had open wires all over for the lighting. The blinds didn’t have any curtains and the blinds were broken all around so barely functioned. The bathroom has spackle on plaster ok the ceiling and just looks horrible. Also very cramped in the bathroom with no shampoo or conditioner but had hand soap and lotion. The refrigerator and microwave were on the ground and looked ghetto and cheap like the whole place. The stairs to the second floor had loose boards. The great! The front desk I had to call but he came down and helped me immediately and kindly also letting me check in 5 hours early! So thankful. It was ONE block away from the center boardwalk and everything, very convenient. Parking was free for that weekend and said we could park close to the stay which was right where we needed to be! Lots of lighting in the room. Easy to check in and check out overall happy but would only stay here for 1 no more 2 nights and only if I only plan to spend 8 hours to sleep. That’s it. I will go again, just not if I’m on vacation and plan to spend some time around and in the hotel for long periods of time. Not that kind of stay.
