We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights, a Friday and Saturday night. We loved the place and their friendly atmosphere. Our room was nice and modern, with a large bathroom. The staff was friendly. The dining area was pleasant with an outdoor courtyard and tables and chairs. The breakfast was healthy and delightful, coffee excellent, and there were gluten free and vegan options for those that needed it. The hotel is situated sideways on a narrow, cobbled street in a kind of courtyard. We drove and the parking is easy -- parking garage with car entrance on a bigger street parallel to the narrow one -- and an people entrance right at the hotel door -- and we got vouchers for 10 euro parking a day (rather than 14). And yes, as people have said, there is a nightclub in the same courtyard. It was not hot out so we left the window closed -- the soundproofing from the windows was excellent and really didn't hear anything that kept us awake. And yes, the staff does leave at 8 -- we used our room key to get in and to use the elevator at night.
We travel with the whole family very often. I have a silver status in Accor Hotels, Ibis Card and my wife is a member of the Accor hotel chain. I have been working in the tourism industry for several years. Before going to this hotel, we stayed for a few days at the Ibis Styles hotels in Milan, Italy, at the Ibis in Lugano, Switzerland and also a month earlier at the Ibis in Nuremberg, Germany. Unfortunately, we are faced with a terrible situation in this hotel, the solution of which is only! the dismissal of this employee, who allowed himself, one can say, fraud actions! Situation; I reserved a hotel through the Accor Hotels application and left my card details. We arrived at the hotel with the whole family and paid! for the room immediately at the reception. After the payment, I asked for an invoice for this payment as it was a business trip. To this, this employee asked me for my debit card, took it in his hands and began to rewrite my personal data somewhere! I was in shock! I asked what are you doing? To which he replied to me that ”I should write down your card details to make you an invoice”. Why, I asked? Do you already have the data of my another one debit card in the Accor Hotels application and why can't you take the card data from there? Why do you need my second debit card details for an invoice at all? This is the first time I have encountered such a situation that someone takes client debit card into their own hands and rewrites personal data from it! I demanded him to return my debit card and this employee refused to do it! He refused to return my personal card! You understand! He refused to return my personal card and threatened that he would cancel my room reservation and payment for the room if I did not give him my personal payment card details! He started saying that you don't understand how the system works in Germany and you, that is, we are wrong! When we were at the Ibis Styles Milan and Ibis Lugano Swiss for three days ago and no one took my payment card in their hands and did not try to rewrite personal data from it! I have invoices for each month from the Accor Hotels chain and I know what the process of receiving them looks like! We were shocked! Have you ever faced such a situation! Horror and shock! After that, we started shouting and already addressing other hotel employees, this hotel employee threw us a payment card and quickly left! He just runaway! Another employee gave us a card to enter our paid room and told us verbatim - Go to your room! Get away from here! That is, he just sent us away from the reception desk to our room! We were shocked! Never before in our experience have we encountered such a thing! I work in tourism and could not imagine this situation! We wanted to call the police, but this employee just disappeared! Wir waren zufrieden! Der Empfang beim Check-In war sehr nett, kompetent und persönlich. Sehr gut gefallen hat uns, dass wir gefragt wurden, ob man uns Tipps geben soll. Eine Karte mit allen Sehenswürdigkeiten lag bereit und entsprechend unserer Bedürfnisse wurden uns Empfehlungen gegeben und in die Karte eingezeichnet. Wir haben dann tatsächlich einige davon ausprobiert und waren damit durchweg zufrieden. Das Haus ist recht neu. Entsprechend modern und noch gut in Schuss ist alles. Die Zimmer sind im typischen neuen Hampton-Design gehalten. Wir finden diesen Zimmertyp sehr gut. Er ist zweckmäßig aufgebaut und auf relativ kleinem Platz findet man alles, was man braucht. Leider sind die Zimmer an sich anscheinend kleiner als manch andere Hampton Zimmer, so dass nur ein Queensize Bett in die Zimmer gepasst hat. Etwas komisch fanden wir auch das ”Upgrade” welches wir aufgrund unseres Hilton Diamond Status bekommen haben. Laut App sollten wir als Upgrade ein Zimmer mit ”View” bekommen. Das Zimmer, das wir bekommen haben, hatte einen View. Auf einen nichtssagenden Innenhof. Schade. Das Frühstück war Hampton-typisch. Besonders aufgefallen ist uns, dass es keine Tabletts und Abräumwägen gibt. Was sonst bei Hampton typisch ist. Hier wird das Geschirr noch abgeräumt. Sehr schön. Die Sauberkeit im Hotel und Zimmer war absolut in Ordnung. Im Zimmer findet man einen kleinen Zettel, auf dem darauf hingewiesen wird, dass die Zimmerreinigung nur auf Nachfrage erfolgt. Das hat bei uns sehr gut geklappt. Das Personal war durch weg freundlich. Für ein Hampton sogar überdurchschnittlich freundlich. Einzig die Lage ist nicht so optimal. Man läuft schon so ca. 20 Minuten, bis man in der Altstadt ist. Dafür aber schön an der Donau entlang.

Well I’m gonna write this review before the morning to see how breakfast is because as of now the overall experience with had with the front desk receptionist wasn’t the most pleasant. Check in went pretty smooth, when I booked it said we would get 2 free drinks due to being a silver member, well she gave us 3 since it was 3 of us, one being a child. We requested 2 key cards for both adults and once we got to the room neither keys worked. We checked the bathroom once we got in the room and only had 2 towels, floor towel and medium towel. We pulled out the sofa bed since it was 3 of us and wanted to have comfort. Well one of us went down and requested extra towels since we were short and some bedding for the sofa couch. The receptionist Marianne Holzer stated that because it was only 3 of us we did not need extra towels and that the room we booked was only for 2 which on the site showed it was for 3 people with a pull out sofa. Marianne Holzer started off okay but it ended up that she was not so friendly at all. She knew when we checked in it was 3 people and when explained that we didn’t have towels it was an issue. Last hotel we stayed at was very accommodating with towels since we did have an 8 year old with us who uses his own towel. Just confused what the issue was.
We booked our 1 night stay for Christmas 2023, a few days earlier. It took 3 times to confirm the reservation online since their webpage was crashing. We chose an option to pay upon arrival and were charged only €0.01 reservation fee. A day before our arrival we received an email stating that our card couldn't be charged for the full amount and that we have until noon to send the correct card details or we will lose our booking. After explaining that we were given and chose the option to pay upon arrival, they said it's okay then. We received 2 emails about the reception working hours on Christmas, first that it's until 17h, then until 15h. As we arrived later, we needed to self check-in and pay at the machine, which went fine. However, the room we were given was not cleaned after the previous guest (the bed was not made, the dirty towels were on the floor). The on-call staff member immediately gave us another room. The room was very small and basic but clean (the 2nd one). The bed was quite small (French bed) but comfortable. The room was extremely basic equipped, not even a cup for the tooth brushes or a trash bin in the room itself. No closet, just a few open hangers. But the worst part was that there were strange sounds during the night in the room/building, like banging in the pipes or something. We didn't have any appliances on (e.g. AC/heating, light) so we don't know what these sounds were but they were very disturbing, keeping us up the whole night. The next morning we heard another guest complaining about it as well. The breakfast was good, a variety of bread, sausages and cheese, 3 types of jams, a chocolate spread, boiled eggs, 2 types of juice, coffee and cocoa from the machine, tea, sweet pastry, yoghurt, etc. We enjoyed the breakfast very much, although only the boiled egg was a warm option. The staff was friendly. The location is great, close to the highway, the bus stop is in front which takes you to the old town in 20 min, buses on Christmas went every 20 min until 20h (and until 22h from the city back to the hotel stop). The daily ticket for 1 person was €3. However, not much to do in the city on Christmas, even the Christmas market was closed. Overall we were satisfied for the 1 night passing by, but wouldn't book it for longer given the bad organisation with the cleaning of the rooms, the weird sounds in the building construction, as well as extremely basic rooms.

guter Service, gutes Frühstück, angenehmer Wellnessbereich, angehnehme Mitarbeiter, ... Das Hotel habe ich bereits zum zweiten Mal gebucht und war diesmal rundrum zufrieden. Nur die Garagentüre wurde noch nicht repariert.
Check in tadellos, Parken in Tiefgarage sehr günstig, auch in der Tiefgarage sehr sauber. Zimmer, Flure,Lift sehr gepflegt. Durch die Fenster dringt kein Verkehrslärm und die Klimaanlage arbeitet sehr leise und ohne Zugluft👍 Immer zu empfehlen
