Really lovely hotel right in the heart of Reading. Super cute rooms that are really clean and comfy. Within very short walking distance to the main shopping centre and train station. Staff were really helpful. Great stay, thank you 😊

Quick check in, no working lift. Good décor in a spacious room. Very nice bathroom.
Didn't like the wooden slatted window arrangement, I felt trapped, unable to open a window or see out.
No breakfast but a couple of cafes nearby. Short walk from station.

Very central property. Close to shops, restaurants & station.
Lovely spacious room & very clean. Staff very friendly. Would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was in a very convenient location in the centre of Reading and having the pub and restaurant downstairs was handy and not too noisy. The room was attractive however, there were lights which flashed during the night which was distracting and the TV did not work. Overall, it was good value for money and the staff were friendly but it could be improved.

The room was overall quite clean . Location is spot on. The wash basin in the restroom was pretty small and access to it was obstructed by a piece of furniture above it which made things uncomfortable. The bed was leaning to the sides so one had to sleep in the middle.

Room was spacious, nicely decorated and surprisingly quiet given its in a pub. Was thankful the air con was on when we arrived (30 degrees C outside which is rare in the UK & was too much for my daughter). Slight issues was the toilet handle was missing leaving a bare screw-like spindle with which to flush the toilet, my daughter found this a bit sore on her hand, also early grey tea wasnt nice & i had to pour it away (could have been the milk though). Check in was at the bar counter which was a bit odd & took a while to get the keys, staff pleasant though.
