I don't usually post negative comments, but if this will help another traveler make an informed choice, I thought I'd let you know a couple of things. First, I booked a junior suite with an ocean view. The rooms are very nice and spacious. However, our ocean view was actually of telephone poles and wires and the thatched roof of the club across the alley. I admit, the ocean was in view, beyond these obstacles. Our original room was on the 4th floor and the first night our roof sprung a fast leak due to the downpour outside. It was mostly cleaned up and we were told to let the front desk know in the morning that we needed to move rooms. I would have thought that due to the inconvenience of having to re-pack everything, that they would have given us an upgraded room. Instead, they gave us a junior ocean view suite on the 3rd floor with a closer view of the wires and rooftop. This room also had only one patio chair so even if we wanted to sit out on the patio, we wouldn't have been able to together. The resort itself has nice amenities.

+++ Super hôtel, chambre très spacieuse et bien équipée, piscine formidable. Le restaurant sert d’excellents plats pour un prix très convenable. Le personnel est vraiment sympathique et serviable. - - - Je déconseille la chambre « vue partielle océan » qui en fait « sans vue » avec un balcon inutilisable à cause du bruit et des vendeurs de « produits illicites » Il faut aussi éviter de nous vendre des contrats alors que nous sortons de 12h d’avion, laissez nous nous reposer un peu avant.

Todo es perfecto en Almar. Regresaré muy pronto. Aunque en general, la gente que se hospedaba en el hotel no es sociable o amigable, eso no es responsabilidad de Almar. El agua es fría, si quieres tomar un baño caliente, no se puede. Les recomiendo ordenar la bagette de pechuga de pollo. El gimnasio no tiene para hacer pierna (todos entrenan mal, mejora tu técnica para tener buenos resultados). En general, todo es perfecto en Almar. Vayan, no lo pienses dos veces. Si, es caro. Pero está muy bien. Y algunos chicos son muy guapos.

Es la cuarta ocasión en la que acudo a este hotel, es el único al que he acudido en más de una ocasión y es así porque el trato es excelente, el personal muy amable, las instalaciones muy bien. No tengo ninguna queja y seguiré acudiendo !

Our room was exactly as pictured, which was an obvious plus. Unfortunately neither the resort nor ******* warned us of the EXTREMELY LOUD construction that was going on from 830-630 daily, making our room basically unusable. ******* blames the hotel, the hotel blames *******, no one takes initiative or offers any real solutions other than “why didn’t you complain sooner?” … maybe instead of waiting for a complaint, offer something up front at check in?

Amenities are great. Mantamar Pool Parties, Mantamar Beach Access/Lounge Chairs, Eden Pool, Top Bar breakfast are all great. Only complaint is the construction every day at the Mantamar Tower. Loud, noisy, drilling early in the morning and throughout the day.... Impossible to sleeep in, nap or rest after long days and long nights.

O hotel é fantástico. Localização magnífica com vistas deslumbrantes. A estrutura é excelente. Quarto espaço e super confortável. Acesso fácil à praia. Piscina maravilhosa e aquecida. Comidas super saborosas e o melhor de tudo o serviço. Todos são super atenciosos, educados, prestativos e ainda bonitos.

Fue una experiencia muy buena en general, solo los bartender de mantamar groseros, les falta capacitación en trato al cliente.

Increíble, esta muy padre y todo solo que hay una chica en recepción que es medio grosera, todas las demas chavas son bien aliviandas, me encantan
