The hotel, the landscaping, pools, and the overall feel of the resort is amazing! The staff works so hard! They're generous and kind and made us feel very welcome. The food was mostly good, a little hit or miss. The restaurants are beautiful and the services great, but some serve better food than others. Overall though, a great place to go!

Not sure why everyone gives this place 10/10. Might be people that haven’t been anywhere else or something. Average resort in my opinion. Rooms are old and outdated (maybe exclusive club is better). Regular rooms are pretty far from the beach so you will have to walk quite a bit. Exclusive club rooms are the ones right next to the beach. No buffet for lunch so you have to order from the menu. Portions are small and selection isn’t great. One appetizer was literally melted cheese with few pieces of pepper on it. Very small selection of fruits. Restaurants don’t take reservations so be ready to wait for about 1-1.5 to be seated as it is first come first served. Main pool is small and it was impossible to get a chair there (given we were up at 6:30am). On the positive side , beach is good.

We celebrated our 30th year Wedding anniversary. The room was decorated inside and out. The service was excellent! From the pool bar staff, Ivan to the charismatic entertainment staff especially Angelo and Dayna. Never a dull moment, the Friday night Mexican party was a treat, the dancing’s and silent party was one of our favorites. Had the pleasure of taking a scuba diving class with Roberto who was patient and such a good instructor. The water excursions arranged by Ariel were awesome. The wind was a bit strong so we were not able to go out Scuba diving a refund was given without us asking. This is a definite come back!

I recently stayed at this beautiful resort that offers exceptional service and a range of dining options. As a foodie, I tried most of the restaurants and found the meals to be good overall. The Lobster House was my favorite, as it served outstanding breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Kitchen Table offered a breakfast buffet with plenty of delicious options for everyone. Chez Isabella provided a great dinner experience, while Oregano's lunch menu hit the spot for me. Basmati had a nice ambiance, but their Indian food was a bit bland for my taste as an Indian. Agave was decent, and Spice had something for everyone. The resort is popular among couples celebrating their honeymoon or anniversaries, making it a romantic getaway. I went with a friend for a girls' getaway, and we still had an amazing time. However, it's not the place for young people looking to party or socialize. The hotel was clean and beautiful, and the service was exceptional. They offer entertainment every night, and their Excellence App is super helpful for planning your stay. You can download it ahead of time to get a sense of the food menus and the entertainment/activities they have to offer. A for my first visit here for sure!

Very nice resort. Employees are very professional and friendly. Nice rooms and comfortable beds. Food is simply phenomenal at all of the restaurants that we visited. Spent most days sipping drinks at the lazy River which we really enjoyed. At night there was a band before and after a 45 minute entertainment show at 9 pm. We were very happy with all aspects of our stay.

As soon as I entered the room of Excellence club junior suite ocean front, I can catch the strong musty and mold smells coming from the AC. I’ve been Cancun 5th times and other facilities sometimes has musty conditions but not like this bad. I complained about the smells and all they did is spray some mist which is not even working. So for whole my stay I had to turn off the AC and it’s freaking hot and muggy. Now came back from cancun I can even still smell this mold from all my clothes. And I can’t use the bubble tub on the terrace because of the mosquitos. It’s January, yeah they still had all these mosquitos in there facility. Food options are very good but some of employees have attitude so you should tip them upfront.

Everything was excellent! From the moment we got there until we departed, everyone and everything was amazing! From the staff, to the food, room, drinks, service and activities, everything was superb! There were many people at the resort, but it never felt crowded. There are always many options for activities and restaurants. It was very quiet by our room and the views were beautiful. The lazy river and the beach are awesome if you want a quiet and relaxing time; but, if you want more activity there is a pool with live music, bar and water games. The night shows were really good. The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. One night, while dining al fresco, they overheard I was being bitten by mosquitoes, minutes later the manager of the restaurant offered me bug spray without me saying anything to them. Which exemplifies how dedicated and committed the whole staff is in providing their guests with the best service. We really got pampered there. Of course we were sad to leave, but we definitely plan to go back! To the staff a big thank you! Especially: Leylan, Jesús, Alex, Armando. Lobster: Carlos, Eli and Fernando. We had a great stay. The cleanest hotel we have stayed in. They went above and beyond for everything. Restaurants were excellent and great selection. Themed Mexican night was a big hit! Lots of pools and beds with great service for drinks and food. Wide range of activities from morning to night. Beach area was the best that we seen from walking on the beach. Highly recommend staying here if you are considering it. We will definitely be visiting again. Something to mention is that a lot of people we spoke to where returning to the hotel for 2nd/3rd and even 5th time so that does say a lot for the property! Thank you Excellence for a great time

This was our second time visiting this resort and we will definitely be back!! The staff at the property are so kind and helpful! The dining options are awesome and the daily activities and nightly entertainment are fun and very inclusive. If I had to give one recommendation for improvement, it would be for better dessert selections. All of the food and restaurants were amazing, we just ordered desserts a few times and they were not on the same level as the appetizer/meal selections. The meals far by far made up for it but if I had to recommend one thing, that would be it.
