Waves Hotel and Spa by Elegant Hotels - All-Inclusive

The hotel itself was lovely - in terms of the room - we booked the two-story room and the views were amazing. However, for the price we paid - the food options were horrible for an all inclusive. If you are used to staying at All Inclusive resorts (like Jamaica etc) - this is NOTHING like those resorts. The food options were extremely disappointing - honestly, breakfast at a Holiday Inn has more options and tastes better. You had to make dinner reservations and again, there was a set menu which you had to choose from which was extremely small. The cafe on the property also had a set menu and closed at 6:30 pm - which was crazy - so no coffee or tea at night. If you wanted room service, you had to pay for delivery per order (which is insane considering this was an all-inclusive resort) . I would not recommend the hotel given the cost and would look for another resort even if you have to pay a little extra. When I booked the reservation - the description included basic spa services - hence why I selected this hotel. However, when I went to book my spa services, I was informed there was an error in the description and that unless I stayed 5 nights, no spa services was included. FALSE advertising and they would not even honor what I had seen to book. If I was able to cancel the reservation then, I would have. Find another hotel and save your money!

Overall an OK experience. The hotel has nice staffs and good facilities. The room is very clean and nicely decorated. The beach is really nice. The pools are nice. Now here are the negatives: Food: Really really subpar. The selection, quality and quantity is really poor. We had to eat out most of the time to not deal with hotel foods. Activities: The nightly activities end at 10:30 and they usually involve loud music. If you want to rest early or if you are a early sleeper. Good luck. Biggest gripe: During the last two days of my stay, I have had noise problems. I got waken up at 2:30 AM two nights in a row due to loud talking and yelling on the patio. Also loud bassy music was playing well after midnight on the last day of my stay. I was not sure it was guests or staffs but why it was allowed is beyond my knowledge. Think twice before booking this hotel if you are looking for good food or if you want a relaxing experience. You might be disappointed.

We stayed at waves hotel for our honeymoon and it was fantastic! The staff were super accommodating and made our stay really special. Since it was a fairly small property, It was nice to take the ferry to see the other hotels/resorts by Elegant hotels without any fees. The beach was stunning and since we had the split room with the ocean view, it was like waking up in paradise each morning. The breakfast, lunch and dinner options were great as well. Overall it was a wonderful stay and we would definitely go back again 10/10

It’s an all inclusive resort. They have 2 restaurants, one bar, one coffee shop. There’s a bar stand at the beach. It’s a small resort, but has all that you need for a relaxing vacation. The staff members are all very pleasant, accommodating. Food quality is great, but lack of variety. We stayed for a week, so we tried almost everything on the dinner menu. Overall experience is very positive, I will recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Receptionist Tamisha was very Nice and Helpful. The staff was very hospitable. Their was a tour guide Name Tony nickname "Tony the Tiger" was excellent. He went the extra mile to show us things we didnt know about... Great time

Great. Hotel amazing staff. They went out of their way to help you with your every need. Room amazing.. Views beachfront from my room amazing Food was good selection , spa was very relaxing and reasonable price wise. Definitely go back Highly recommend this hotel

Amazing views and great service. The beach was great. Clear water, plenty of room to swim around. Rooms were okay but it doesn’t matter because the views/beach is amazing. The food was 3.5/5. Only okay.

I liked that the property had an adult only area which was nice and quiet, with a beautiful pool. I wasn't crazy about having to cross the busy road each time we wanted to get to the main hotel. However, the good food, friendly staff and amenities made it all worthwhile.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating with anything needed. Mainly adults and older children on vacation. We only saw one other couple with a small infant. The beach was beautiful, but rocky so have your feet be prepared:) Rooms were updated and comfortable with a beautiful view. The property has two dining locations in which you make the reservations at the front desk. Overall great experience and stay, especially traveling with our son who turned one. They made us very special and memorable. Would absolutely recommend for families or couples.
