Check in was easy. They have a beautiful indoor/outdoor swimming pool and an amazing feeling hot tub. I would totally recommend this place if you’re ever in that area! They also have a pool table, table tennis, and air hockey game for your amusement or just to pass time.

A hidden treasure in the small town of Paintsville. Just an excellent facility with the most courteous front staff you could ask for.

No problems, very clean and up yo date. Top of the line. Personnel very friendly and willing to help.

When I first got there my towels were thrown on the floor, and my bathroom wasn’t cleaned at all BUT Nate at the front desk and the head of house cleaning fixed those problems. Those two made my stay enjoyable :)

They turned off the water at 8am so you couldn’t take a shower brush your teeth or use the restroom.

Excellent service in bar and restaurant. Bed was too soft and didn’t have proper support. I nearly fell off the bed twice. Dated dark walls were drab and depressing.

Overall good. Very unfriendly front desk help. Ladies serving at the breakfast bar were excellent! Food was excellent! The room had a bad odor of urine. I didn’t complain, I was only staying 2 nights. The bed was very comfortable. Over all the room probably had not been cleaned in a long while. Dust covered all tables and chairs, TV, lamps. Over all the room was very dark even when all lights were on. There was only 1 towel in the bathroom. Right before I called the front desk I happen to find them in a drawer under the one cup coffee pot. To one cup coffee pot did not have the drawer in it to put the coffee filter. So I called the front desk, telling them I needed a drawer for that Coffee pot and they told me to come down to the front desk and get coffee. The inside aesthetics of the hotel is very nice. Would I stay again, yes. I do not find it to be on the level and standards of Wyndham hotels. The next time I come to your hotel, I will ask to see the room before checking into that room. Hope this gives you some idea why only a “good” was checked.

Definitely the nicest hotel in Paintsville... Although... More Southern Hospitality could be found at a McDonalds. The staff was not helpful and was even rude at one point. Due to them blocking off sections of the parking lot for maintenance, I had no choice but to park out behind the building. (Which is absolutely no problem for me: there is a rear entrance.) However, they lock the resr entrance door FROM THE INSIDE because the pool entrance is also there. I do unserstand yhe importance of safety, but when I asked the front desk about it so that I could go to my vehicle at around midnight, I received a very snotty and unprofessional answer of "Just go around." Keep in mind there are keycard access points on the exterior of the rear entrance to allow people back in... I know this sounds trivial to some, but when you have a physical disability, this becomes a problem. The front desk staff tried to give me someone else's bill at checkout and when I informed them that i didn't owe anything as I prepaid for the room, she snatched the bill out of my hand and said "youre all set then." This could be and amazing hotel. Its absolutely gorgeous inside, but I will stay in a nearby town before I stay there again. The rooms are clean, but the staff has no personality for $160/night.

The building is beautiful and very clean. I had a problem with the toilet; the man who came to fix it was very professional, kind and courteous. I wish that there were ice machines on all floors. The restrooms around the facility were very clean as well. Most of the staff i dealt with on the phone and in person were very kind and helpful. There was one lady who was a little snarky. But we all have bad days.
