I love LaQuinta and this one would have been great but it was disappointing. We had the executive King which has a separate lounging room with a nice couch and TV. We had a long trip and I thought it would be great for me to relax after driving all day while my husband slept (he has health issues). We got there around 9, settled in, and then I noticed there wasn't a remote to the TV in the "living room". The room phone didn't work so I went to the front desk and waited until she was free. The very nice front desk girl gave me a remote they had up at the counter, it didn't work. She came to the room, while she tried to get the remote to work, I pulled the couch apart looking to see if the remote was there, looked behind and under things, this is when I realized it wasn't so clean. NEVER look under or behind hotel furniture...... So no remote so no TV and I went to bed. The next morning I asked the manager if I could have a discount since I basically had a king room but paid for the executive and she said no, because I booked 3rd party so already had a discount. But my discount was for something I didn't get! I would think she could have given me a gift certificate for the difference or something. It was very disappointing in their lack of customer service or concern that they didn't provide what was paid for. La Quinta used to be my #1 hotel and we were highest ranking members but it has really been going downhill towards their patrons since Wyndham purchased them.

Badly stained and dripping water faucet in the bath. Upon check-in, there was no one at the front desk. I stood in the lobby for at least 5 minutes waiting for a desk clerk to check me in to my room. No notice of fresh paint on the doors. Paint smell was awful.

Provided shampoo/conditioner/lotion bottles, but they were small and clearly used previously. Would giving a new tiny bottle cut into profits that much?

We at the hotel and got checked in and they gave us an upgrade to a suite. Very nice of them. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Upon arrival at 2:35 ( I am aware this is before ck-in which is at 3) there was no one around. Phone ringing, no one at front desk. Was very strange. We waited until 250 then left. When we came back at 315 thwre was one lady cking in everyone that was arriving. The bedding (sheets and pillows) were not the best but mattress was comfortable. Breakfast was decent. It was very quiet and in a great location.

Not clean-- the hallways, floors in room, and room itself (even the sheets) were dirty.

Nice Hotel--a bit hard to get to but nothing horrible. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was okay-- self serve waffles, cereal, hot served eggs and sausage, Juice and Milk. I think they also had yogurt.

Hotel never released my deposit. I had to go up there myself and speak to the manager to get it released two weeks later. Manager wasn’t helpful or friendly.
