Dartfordleigh B&B

We (family of 4 adults) had the most lovely time at Dartfordleigh. We arrived late at night to a warm welcome and chose our breakfast for the morning. They were so kind and were able to make 2 vegan english breakfasts, which was greatly appreciated. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, the property is gorgeous, and the breakfast was terrific. My 1 year old Dalmatian & I had such a lovely weekend at Dartfordleigh. Steeped in history, clean, relaxed & friendly. The breakfast was amazing, so much choice & a wonderful selection of fresh fruit. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The hosts were great, very welcoming and eager to get things right for their guests. Honestly I can’t wait to find another weekend to go again!

We felt so lucky to have come across Dartfordleigh online because it made the perfect base for a trip to Dartmoor. The room was classy and beautiful. It was quiet and the bed extremely comfortable and the veggie breakfast was the best I’ve ever had. Thank you so much- we will definitely be back.

Just spent two nights at this charming bed and. Alex the owner welcoming and helpful, re local information. The full English breakfast was amazing, very comfortable bedroom and great shower pressure. Good local eateries nearby but you will need to drive. Dartmoor is a stunning area of natural beauty, well worth a visit. I will be revisiting again my self and staying at this lovely establishment. Thank you Alex for making me feel so welcome, love your dogs.

Warm welcome, very comfortable and excellent breakfast. Lovely location and easy to find off the main road (B3212) Great for walking on Dartmoor. Delightful post office stores just down the road. Will be sure to visit again.

Beautiful location in the heart of Dartmoor, easy to find off the main road through Postbridge. Period building very tasteful decor. Warm welcome, very comfortable and an excellent breakfast. Will be sure to return when possible and will definitely recommend!
