穆爾特拉齊飯店(Gletscher-Hotel Morteratsch)

Kurzaufenthalt in der Hochsaison. Das freundliche Personal und die tolle Küche haben uns überzeugt. Das Essen kam rasch, für alle zur selben Zeit und war sehr gut - einfach top. Die Zimmer sind hell und sauber und die gesamte Hotelanlage macht einen gepflegten Eindruck. Ideal ist auch der Bahnhof direkt beim Hotel, man braucht kein Auto, trotz der Abgeschiedenheit. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Splendida residenza situata nel bosco, comodissima da raggiungere con il trenino rosso del Bernina con la fermata proprio davanti all'entrata dell' albergo. Immerso nella natura con un ottimo ristorante un pò caro. Vicinissimo a St. Moritz

I stayed here for 3 nights in September 2023. I stayed in the "Al Vadret" building which is next to main building. The room was clean. There was plenty to choose from at the breakfast buffet. The room was not airconditioned but it cooled down quickly during the night. There is free parking on the parking lot at the hotel. There was a weddingparty at the hotel on a saturday evening, but I did not hear any noise from that party, so I slept well here. The main attraction for this hotel is its location in the middle of the nature.

Stayed for one night in a family room. Hotel staff were excellent. Location of course amazing on the rail line at the start of the glacier walk. Food in the restaurant was surprisingly good (stuck to the Swiss dishes) and desserts not to be missed. Room was great with views up the valley into the glacier on the horizon and the goat pen behind the hotel with petting welcome went down well with the kids. Breakfast buffet was high quality as well

Great stay overall, key things we liked: - location is both secluded and well connected. In the middle of a forest/valley, but right at the train station, one can take train (ticket is included in the stay). Perfect location for all kind of activities (cross country and downhill skiing, walks, snowshoeing, skating, visiting Pontresina, St. Moritz, Tirano, etc). Easy to reach by car as well, a great base for Engadin - hotel is small and personal - staff is kind, helpful and professional - parking is easy and free - rooms are big and well equipped, beds are good - breakfast is fantastic, with high-quality products, some are local. The only thing that could be improved is having heated ski room in the main building (currently the room is in Annex and is not heated). But this is not a big deal. Staying at a hotel with small children is often inconvenient, but this was not the case here. We were staying in Family Corner (two rooms with their own corridor behind a third door, perfect for families). We would gladly come again. Many thanks to Christophe and the team.

Eravamo con 2 bambini e per loro è stata un'avventura la stanza di soli letti a castello (eravamo nella struttura accanto all'hotel), letti a castello ma stra-comodi!!! Stanza molto bella e moderna, pulita ed ordinata, quindi se il letto a castello non è un problema la consiglio. (ovviamente non c'è bidet!) La sera rimanere sperduti in questo posto nei pressi del ghiacciaio è davvero affascinante. qualcosa da migliorare nel ristorante (tipo i prezzi delle bottiglie di vino)

Questo hotel è in una bellissima e strategica posizione se si decide di percorrere la tratta del trenino rosso del Bernina con pernotto e non in giornata. La posizione è a pochissimi metri dalla piccolissima stazione e dal sentiero che porta al ghiacciaio (vi sono altre belle passeggiate e a pochissime centinaia di metri vi è una suggestiva cascata). L’hotel, oltre che comodo come posizione, è anche molto ben tenuto (recentemente completamente ristrutturato), pulitissimo e con stanze ampie e la qualità del sonno (non transitando treni dopo una certa ora) ottima. I servizi potrebbero essere migliorati con piccolissimi accorgimenti (in un luogo da passeggiate e con ospiti che difficilmente si portano molto bagaglio, le ciabattine andrebbero fornite). Abbiamo ovviamente cenato in hotel (nelle adiacenze non vi sono altre strutture) e abbiamo mangiato molto bene. La colazione per contro è davvero minimal. Un’ultima piccola pecca è che nella struttura manca una sala relax/lettura. Il personale davvero gentile e premuroso. I prezzi tenuto conto della bellezza del paesaggio circostante decisamente economici. Merita una sosta.

Amazing location for an amazing hotel. Everybody is extremely nice and helpful. You really feel at home. Rooms are clean and Cody and the food excellent. The location is perfect: almost in the middle of the mountains, next to the train station. We stay here almost every year !

The restaurant’s huge sun terrace is just the most wonderful place to enjoy a drink after the approximately 6 km roundtrip to the Morteratsch glacier and back. And the building is basically right at the train station so one just gets up and steps back onto the train.
