The hotel has good bones and could be great but lacks in critical areas. On the positive side the chef and cooking team made great meals and that is where the good ends. The staff clearly have no hospitality training from management down. I witnessed and experienced poor service from checkin through dining experiences. Our room was not as advertised, there were two in the pics but the others at our category (Garden View) were not the same and faced a parking lot with no patio furniture). Food orders continually arrived before the drink orders. Another guest had a drink dropped all over thier table, the table next two us also kept receiving food before drinks which spoiled nice bottles of wine ordered.
No good day or greetings by staff. When I mentioned the room not being as advertised there was no apology or attempt to rectify the issue. I also contacted *******. On my departure there was no ask how my stay was or anything like that which was common at every other hotel. They did ask where we were heading next.
DO NOT BOOK THE GARDEN VIEW ROOM AS YIU COULD GET A ROOM THAT LOOKS LIKE A MOTEL FACING THE PARKING LOT. None of the Garden rooms are attached to the hotel either. Had I have known any of this I would have booked a different room.
Hotel has potential but needs a lot of work and I don’t see myself staying there again as a result. There are much better places in the area I experienced on this trip which I would prefer. Especially at the cost!
