If you plan to stay here, do not bring your vehicle. The private parking garage for the hotel is not safe. They have a ticketed entrance but no security or cameras. Our car window was smashed out and items were stolen. Several other guests informed me they had the same issue. Very unsafe area. The hotel staff were of no assistance and all they did was give me a piece of paper to complete to file a police report. GUESTS of the hotel who witnessed my concerns were amazing & courteous and assisted me with my bags & offered their apologies. Would be beneficial if the staff was as warm & helpful as their guests! Its a shame because the hotel itself is vintage & decorated beautifully. Rooms are not quiet. Could hear the guest next door talking all night & doors slamming. A lot of stairs, so if you have a disability I don't recommend. Upon leaving we noticed suspicious people around the hotel watching guests come and go and following them across the street monitoring where they were going. We will not stay here again and do not recommend to anyone until the city of Portland starts taking care of their community and their families.

We paid for secure parking and had our car window broken and theft inside car. We notified hotel manager suspicious people in parking and security not notified . I guess you pay for parking and sleep in your car to guard your car. What did I pay ??? It would have been safer parking in the street. Hotel dud not even try make things right. You are left to fend for yourself. Horrible experience. Wish they refund but I have more much thieves returning give us a new window and belongings than hotels help us

Staff was so friendly and helpful: Valet, front desk, the night bar man, and the morning wait staff at Gracies restaurant. Btw, we might have had the best eggs Benedict in Portland this morning! Well done Hotel deLuxe. We had a wonderful staycation with you!

We really liked the theme of the hotel and the extra amenities - cookies upon check in, happy hour wine, and the all day coffee and tea bar in the lobby. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The rooms were clean. The bar and the bartenders were fantastic. Our only complaint was that the rooms were small and the bathrooms were super tiny. There was no place to put your things.

The staff were incredibly helpful and patient with every patron they come into contact with. The hotel is amazing and well thought out. It felt so nice to be in that atmosphere. The room was the perfect amount of space for what we needed it for and it felt clean. The bed and the pillows had me feeling like I was sleeping in the clouds and it was an amazingly relaxing experience. Will definitely be returning as a long term frequent visitor. Thank you!

DeLuxe is an old hotel with a lot of history, it’s been renovated and the atmosphere is great. There was no bellman and the lift was not staffed, getting our luggage to the room and getting the baby’s stroller in and out was a hassle. We had to carry it up a flight of stairs every time. I’d expect more from a hotel that’s supposedly four stars. We stayed in one of the suites and the air conditioning wasn’t sufficient to cool the living room. The bedroom was fine. It was 100 degrees out so perhaps this is not typical.

Was probably a beautiful hotel 10 years ago but not a lot of effort goes into this place. The rooms are tiny. You can barely open the mini fridge door because it hits the bed. They make the beds and bring towels every third day which they neglect to mention. They will do it more often but they need 24 hours notice. Free happy hour is very sad. They give you an ounce of some wine in a plastic cup. That’s it.

I loved this hotel and would stay again. It has an old Hollywood feel to it with photos of Marilyn Monroe, the rat pack etc everywhere which was such a vibe. Morgan who works at the front desk gave us a look at one of the corner rooms on the eighth floor and ultimately decided to upgrade our two night stay. This was one of the most beautiful rooms I've ever stayed in, windows around the entire room, black out curtains, lots of space, a very comfortable bed and beautiful decor. The bathroom is a bit small but isn't a big deal. There is a water station in the lobby to fill your bottles which we loved. The hotel also has bikes to use which was a great perk. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The only downside to the hotel is the expensive parking and the daily resort fee. Overall a great experience here.

My favorite place to stay anytime I’m in the Portland. The hotel itself is all high glamour, and the staff makes you feel special, and that they truly appreciate your being there. Great food bar is outstanding. Small, dark, intimate, but great drinks good food.
