埃爾帕索汽車旅館(El Motor Inn)

Great little motel in the heart of the Port Macquarie CBD. Fast easy and friendly check in. Rooms are adequately equipped and a recent refurbishment makes rooms very pleasing. This is our 2nd stay here in 12 months, would recommend to anyone visiting, or to locals wanting to stay in town for an event or show.

I stayed in this hotel last year, but this time i decided I need to let other people know what to expect while staying there. Let me start with things I liked: good TV, clean, good location, good service. And now the rest. First off, I have no idea who decided to have a bathroom window that can't be closed!! It was +10 when I was there and going to the bathroom or having shower at night was amazing!! Some genius designed it! Then before 10am drilling started, can't even sleep in.. I was so excited when I saw pork ribs on the menu - I wish I didn't order them, they were terrible, fatty, sauce was hardly edible. For $34 they could go to Woolies and buy $5 American smokey bbq sauce that would have been much better. This was runny, watered down and very disappointing. The best part of the dish was the salad, fresh.. wow! And then the fire alarms: in two days two alarms, one at 4.30am blaring for a long time. Not even sorry from management, just "get back to your rooms, false alarm". Great, try to sleep after and drive back 400kms tired.And then the birds chirping, that was another great edition to the whole stay. It was so loud, what made it worse- bathroom window that can't be closed.. Also just FYI, do not expect any plates (at all) or cutlery in your room. I ordered takeaway Thai, they forgot to give me cutlery, had to use a teaspoon and eat from palstic container..

It has been totally renovated since I was there last. Having the lift is a real bonus when you have luggage to carry. Definitely will stay again.

Clean, quiet, great location. All staff were friendly and helpful. Cafe in the motel served quality food, but plenty of options nearby.

The property was conveniently located but lacks sufficient parking for the location and amount of rooms. The rooms are clean though they are old and not particularly comfortable - our drains smelled quite bad. The staff were lovely but I wouldn't recommend staying here and we won't be coming back.

Loved how friendly and helpful the staff were. They offered free cancellation due to our event being postponed, which is incredibly generous after a storm had compromised the area and impacted the Motor Inn as well. We will be back.

Excellent location particularly if travelling Brisbane to Sydney

everything was great and the service excellent. Location to all the town offers is first rate. Parking seems to be the only little issue. lots of cars in small area.
