粉色弗拉明戈度假村(Pink Flamingo Resort)

Eins vorab: wer klassische 4-5 Sterne Hotels und das dortige Feeling & Ambiente (Hilton etc.) bevorzugt, braucht garnicht weiterzulesen. Dann ist das Pink Flamingo definitiv die falsche Wahl. Wir waren mit Freunden unterwegs, die nach der ersten Nacht abgereist sind, weil sie mit Ambiente/Ausstattung und Detail-Sauberkeit nicht zufrieden waren. Wir waren 3 Nächte hier, Sauberkeit war in unseren Augen OK, keine Beanstandung. Lage: An der Einfallstrasse. Walking Distance: Strand: 10-15 min., Center mit Bars & Restos: 20-25 min., nächster Bottle Shop 10 min. Einrichtungen: keine "formelle" Rezeption / Lobby, kleines Häuschen. Pool mit Liegen und Barbereich. Waschmaschinen zur kostenfreien Nutzung. Zimmer: wir hatten Villa no.7. Roomservice erst ab 7 Nächte. Die Villen liegen in 2 gegenüberliegenden Reihen in einem gepflegten tropischen Garten. Optimale Privatsphäre. Eingangsbereich mit Sitzgelegenheit führt in kleinen Garten mit Sitzgelegenheit & Jacuzzi. Im Appartment vorne Küche und Wohnbereich, alles vorhanden, grosse Fridge, Herd, Geschirr. Fantasievoller Materialmix, individuelles Design. Kein Safe. TV vorhanden. Gute Beleuchtung drinnen & draussen. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt, das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist top. Klare Empfehlung für alle, die Individuelle Hotels/Resorts bevorzugen. Gucci & Pradafans sind hier eher schlecht beraten :-)

We spent 2 nights here. It’s querky but fun. It’s super private as there are only 10 rooms. We usually had the pool to ourselves. But the room is missing a few things like No trash can for the kitchen. Cabinets in the kitchen don’t have a toe space at the floor so I was constantly stubbing my toe. No power plugs near the bed and poor reading lights near the bed. There was only a poorly lit sign out front so we had trouble finding the place at night. The most irksome issue is the long slog from parking to the rooms on a gravel footpath means you carry all luggage as the gravel won’t let wheels past. So pack lightly and you’ll have a great time.

Another cracking stay at our favourite place in Port Douglas….cheers guys! Close to town without being too close, great comfy villas. Pool area great to chill out at along with great outdoor bar/bbq area. Best bang for buck place in town for sure.

Lovely little resort, and they don't miss any of the small things. The bed was comfy, many pillows too ...and lots of private space within and outside the room, including a shared outside bathtub with bath salts provided! Free pool table, books, a pool and snacks that run on an honour system. Close enough to the centre to walk in 15 mins :)

We really enjoyed our stay here. First of all, Port Douglas is a great place to stay away from the busier Cairns, with easy access to the Great Barrier Reef tour companies and a short drive to the Daintree Rainforest area. We loved the location of the Pink Flamingo in the quiet neighborhood of town, yet within a reasonable walk or 5 minute drive from the downtown shopping area and restaurants. We stayed in one of the garden villas with a comfortable king bed and adequately equipped kitchen. The private patio, surrounded by trees, provided a great place to stargaze at night and listen to the multitude of birds in the morning. The grounds are kind of a jungle landscaping and the bright color scheme of the unit was fun.

Such a lovely place to relax and enjoy an adult's only resort. Been coming here once every year and has never disappointed me. Plus the main reason I love PF is because I can bring my dogs with me too

We would like to compliment the operators of pink flamingo for a fantastic stay. We stayed 2 nights. Attention to detail is impeccable and impressive. Perfect for singles, couples or families....highly recommended. Will be staying here again without hesitation.

The most amazing beautiful place ever. I drove over 1000 ks for my mum to experience the unique pink flamingo 🦩 resort and of course, she was as impressed as me. It has absolutely everything you could possibly want. I Love everything about the place. The resort is immaculate and well loved and such generosity and thoughtful touches throughout the resort make things extra special. The pool is sparkling and inviting and the apartments are just spectacular, Bright, colourful and happy vibes. The outside bath is an experience everyone must have. Thank you for another amazing stay, I will be back.

I have been coming to the Pink Flamingo for over 20 years and it never loses its charm. Amazing value for a slice of tranquility in Port Douglas, away from the major resorts. Friendly staff and guests for a relaxed stay with great space and amenities. Can not recommend highly enough.
