斯維特艾維茵住宿加早餐旅館(Swept Away Inn)

Es ist ein Highlight hier zu übernachten. Super nette Gastgeber, herzliche Atmosphäre. Und dieses wird gelebt und bezieht die anderen Gäste, die es möchten, mit ein. Die Kajüte war super eingerichtet. Es ist ein Schiff mit Atmosphäre und kein Kreuzfahrt-Riese. Höhepunkt ist sicher, wenn abends auf dem Schiff gekocht wird. Wir waren an einem Montagabend hier, da war verständlicherweise das Bootsrestaurant geschlossen. Toller Tipp der Gastgeber war ein Restaurant in 3 Minuten Fußweg Entfernung, wo wir mit einem Teil der anderen Gäste zusammen essen waren. Hinterher haben wir alle auf dem Boot einen Drink gehabt und uns gut unterhalten. Ein Highlight war das tolle Frühstück, was uns serviert wurde. Wer ein spezielles Erlebnis im Herzen von Vancouver Island sucht, der ist hier genau richtig! Jederzeit gerne wieder!

Was severally overcharged for two night was told $188 per couple per night got our bill $696.44 - NO FOOD - only drinks one night - was told on phone when booking that we could join for dinner party that night - they served the other guests we had to leave the boat to go to a restaurant for food - do not return emails or messages

I felt so uncomfortable being there. Nothing as indicated on ********** website is how the property actually was. It was not mentioned that you would have to shower a bathroom and shower with guests in 5 other rooms. The rooms were tiny with no AC and some of the most uncomfortable bunk beds I ever stayed on. The doors have no locks. The hosts ask you to go to your room at 1030 and not make any noise. I had to leave as I felt super uncomfortable especially with half naked people going from shower to rooms and since doors can’t be locked or closed everything was visible. On top of it town closes at 7pm with nothing to do afterwards plus highway is closed for next few years making it impossible to access property. Booked two nights asked owner for a refund of 2nd night and he said I had to discuss with ******* and then he pulled out his machine to charge me. Extremely disappointed with this property as nothing from website is realistic of property. They offer breakfast so we mentioned we were leaving early just to get on highway before they closed and never offered anything to bring with us.

Do not book here. Hwy to Port Alberni is closed on a regular basis. The day we were supposed to go there the hwy was closed all day due to debris needing to be removed from the road. Understandable. I call the owners and told them we wouldn't be able to make it due to the hwy closure and that we would be there the next morning to stay at least one of the 2 days we had booked. Go to leave the next morning only to find out the hwy was closed again for most of the day. Called the owner again and they knew about it. I asked them why the didn't say anything to me when I had called the day before and his response was....I thought you knew about it....everyone knows about it. I tell him I am from.another province so how would I know about it? I asked for a refund or partial refund as we had driven 1400km but they said no...there was nothing they could do for us. Obviously only care about the money and not the customer. Shady people.

The Tug boat is such a neat experience to try, with amazing food and cute cabins to stay in. Daniel and Bouchra are outstanding chefs, and very accommodating. If you have any motion sickness, this is not the adventure for you. Even docked, I did not have the sea legs for this lovely boat. My husband and son did very much enjoy the stay!

So disappointing!!! I would suggest not booking here due to management. Because the fires and ROAD CLOSURE, myself and guests were unable to stay. emailed in advance they said they would not refund but would rebook (which was upsetting as I had guests traveling from Ontario) I asked when I could rebook TWICE and now they won't answer emails or return my calls. Shady shady shady

This was a fun and unique option for accommodation in Port Alberni.

We were made to feel right at home form the first time we stepped onboard. Daniel and Bouchra are friendly and gracious hosts. We enjoyed a relaxing evening and a excellent breakfast. A complete experience we strongly recommend to anyone.

Don’t expect luxury, it’s not a cruise ship. was totally fun, the food was amazing, and it’s birthed in the most interesting part of town.
