底特律皮蒂亞克奧本山Residence Inn 飯店

We felt uncomfortable. We hoped to use this Residence Inn as our base when making family visits to the area but will not do so after this stay. In general the overall physical condition of the facility shows neglect but that was not the telling issue. We noticed that the TV in the Lobby/Breakfast Area was tuned to FoxNews during most of the times we saw it during our three night stay. It surprises us that the Management mixes politics with Business so overtly. To us it is a reflection of the hotel's general clientele and makes us uncomfortable that the other guests may be folks carrying concealed arms and might be hostile to us.

Very outdated, pool out of order, room was dirty, breakfast isn't fit to eat, staff unwelcoming, find somewhere else to stay. $1100 to stay in a dirty room that was out dated, no pool and a breakfast I wouldn't give my dog.

The hotel building had a strong smell upon entering & then nearly dry heaved when I entered my room, my coworkers room did not have the smell. It quite literally smelled like there was an animal decaying in my room. The front desk was polite when I addressed the issue, but Wally had no solution. They came to “spray my room” with smoke remover spray and left the whole can because “I’d probably need it.” This experience was truly disgusting. I was able to open a window in the bedroom thankfully to get some sleep, but had to hold my breath between the bedroom and the hallway because of how disgusting my room smelled. I hope they find whatever what’s rotting.

Please do not stay at this hotel. I travel to the area for work, and used this hotel. The week prior to this, the AC closet was leaking, leaving the ground near my bed wet. Maintenance could not or did not fix the issue. The room smelled badly of mildew. Today, I checked into a new room, and I found a large number of bed bugs under the pillow. After I had laid down. The hotel has a policy to only send housekeeping to a room after 5 days. I hope the cut costs are worth it for the owners, because I am telling anyone who will listen to stay far away from this hotel. For the record, I have Titanium Elite status with Marriott, and this is by far the worst of their properties I have ever stayed in.

Our family stayed at Residence Inn Pontiac for 13 days in May 2022 while our daughter was attending the Euro-Therapies clinic across the street. This was our fourth stay at the hotel and it was terrific. The staff is, without exception, extremely kind and helpful. The customer service is impeccable. Sondra was especially instrumental in making our stay so fantastic. The facilities are clean and the rooms are very comfortable. The kids had a fantastic time. I cannot thank the staff enough for how our family was treated. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
