Todo nuevo, colchones, almohadas, precio peregrino 12,90€. Incluye toalla, sabanas, manta. Bonita decoracion y mucho silencio. Literas grandes que no te das con la cabeza, plano del albergue con tu cama, los servicios, la clave wifi, codigo de puerta al entrar. Nada mas bajar esta el supermercado y el restaurante que regenta el dueño del hostel esta al lado. Tiene descuento 5% peregrinos. Ofrece tapas como si fuera un 1er plato o plato unico y carta con bicadillos, sandwiches, pastas, carnes etc. Tido muy rico y fresco. Localizacion excelente antes de llegar a Pontevedra. Tiene rio y playa donde bañarse en agua dulce. Tiene zona de nosque con sombra y bares en la playa a 3 min. El lugar es muy relajante y de naturaleza. Recomiendo ir y probarlo todo.

If you are the sort of pilgrim who enjoys the extra penance of being abused on arrival by someone so aggressive you question why they would ever be in the hospitality industry then this is definite the place for you. The added bonus is you can get a bunk bed in a corridor. And unlike every other Albergue we stayed in, they don’t provide any type of breakfast or coffee, but you can buy an outrageously overpriced pilgrims breakfast at the cafe they own next door. Just be sure you turn up at the exact time for breakfast or risk getting further abused by the owner. Sleeping on the street would provide a better experience. Best to be avoided at all costs.

There are two types of accommodation here, one being hostel style dormitories then there are two apartments, which is where we stayed for 4 nights. There were only two of us but there is also a bed settee which seemed fairly comfortable and there is air conditioning. The price of the apartments were very reasonable so the dormitories must be very cheap . The place was clean , tidy and we had cooking/refrigeration/ sink which we barely used as we ate out. The hotel also has a simple restaurant/café/bar which had good ,fairly basic food but very reasonably priced and opens from breakfast through to the night. There are other restaurants in the town which is just 5 minutes walk over the river on the beautiful medieval bridge. All the staff were very helpful and the owner/manager superb , we had a great time there.

I stayed here while on my Camino pilgrimage walk July 2023. Several to knows: not much to do in Arcade, the owner is crabby & you check in at his restaurant down the road then gain an access code. The kitchen area is not air-conditioned so eating or sitting here was hot in July. Most notably this is not an albergue for Camino pilgrims so tourists were noisy & running around at night (teenager guests). When asked for a lower bunk (I’m 60 with recent hip surgery) the owner guy was rude & unaccommodating even though they were available. The place was clean & shared bathrooms adequate.
