A very special historical building in a really neat old medieval city like Pontevedra. Nothing fancy inside the rooms (but they are very comfortable). But supporting an investment in keeping up old historical buildings like this is a great way to spend one night on the Camino (and there aren't many places like this as stops). the breakfast was really nice also, and the location can't be beat (steps away from the Camino). Highly recommend

We paid a bit more and booked one of the modern rooms with a balcony. It had so much space and the bed was very comfortable. The minibar was reasonably priced so we used this when we would normally not bother so please keep these reasonable prices for the drinks! The only minor thing was that everywhere else we had stayed on the camino there was a bottle of water for each person in the room as these are long days walking and carrying the minimum possible. The water had to be paid for here and it might be a nice touch to just include a bottle each as I'm sure the cost is minimal to the hotel and they do advertise as being on the camino and suitable for pilgrims and we were very thirsty after walking in the sun. Great location for all parts of town as well and for getting back on the camino the next day. If we were to walk the camino again we would have spent 2 nights here in Pontevedra.

Algo que NO indica el hotel en su publicidad es que permite mascotas de menos de 5 kg, lo que ha sido una desagradable sorpresa para los que elegimos este tipo de alojamientos, precisamente para estar libres de estos animales, los ves paseandose por todos los sitios del hotel. Dicho esto , se trata de un Hotel bien situado, habitación y servicios correctos, buena limpieza y personal agradable. Relación calidad-precio inmejorable. Lástima el tema de las mascotas.

We booked this hotel because Pontevedra does not have many hotels around the area. Their Reception is online anyways it works, their room need a touch of colour and the bathroom a renovation. During our stay there was a lot of noise from the room next door anyways that might have been only our experience. It's in a good location with Street Parking and next to the Train Station. I would recommend it for one night, if you need it for longer stay I would go to other hotel or Vigo.
