阿特紐之家飯店(Casa Ateneu)

Un hébergement bien situé en plein cœur de Ponta Delgada. Des contacts réactifs en cas de question. Un petit déjeuner très bien servi le matin devant votre porte. Le studio 11 loué ne comportait pas de système d aération et de climatisation avec une seule fenêtre impossible à ouvrir pour 30 m2. Privilégier un autre appartement dans cet immeuble d époque bien rénové au cœur du centre ville.

Una estafa. En principio teníamos la reserva de 3 noches en otro hotel pero el mismo dia que llegamos nos mandaron un mensaje diciendo que habian tenido problemas con la reserva y en ese hotel no habia disponibilidad por lo que nos dijeron que si no nos importaba tenian una habitacion libre en Casa Ateneu por el mismo precio contratado. La primera noche ya nos despertamos a las 4 de la mañana con muchos insectos en la habitacion por el suelo, la cama , la ropa.. La pared , en el baño ..en todos los sitios. Mandamos un msje para que nos contactaran en cuanto lo leyeran ya lo que quedaba de noche estuvimos sin dormir. Al dia siguiente a las 9.30 aun no habian contestado por lo que llamamos varias veces hasta que nos cogieron el telefono y vino el encargado que nos dijo que no tenian mas habitaciones disponibles ahi ni en otro hotel. Sin darnos ninguna solucion ni ofrecerse a buscarnos otros hoteles. Le dijimos que ahi no nos quedabamos las 2 noches restantes y quedamos en que nos devolvia el dinero de estas 2 noches pero la noche que nos habiamos quedado tenia que consultarlo con el manager. Finalmente nos dijeron que no nos devolvian nada porque habia en la habitacion una hoja que informaba que las antiguas casas en Ponta delgada podia haber termitas que se debia tener la ventana cerrada y el aire encendido.Una informacion que no nos dijeron puesto que si lo sabes seguramente no te alojas y ademas que ya habiamos pagado. Nos dicen que no nos devuelven nada de dinero y que si queremos podemos quedarnos estas 2 noches, en esa misma habitacion llena de bichos, es decir un sitio inhabitable. Pongo unas fotos para que se vea que no soy una exagerada y habia termitas por todas partes.

Aucune isolation entre les chambres. On entend tout. Je suis restée 12 nuits et les draps n’ont pas été changé une seule fois.

Greatest experience ever. Spacious rooms (20 ft ceilings!), clean, comfortable, right in the city center. And the staff is the best. Kudos to Nuno for showing up at 11pm to help me solve a problem. 5 stars service, truly. Highly recommended.

Everything was perfect at Casa do Mercado, except that we booked a room at Casa Ateneu.

The property was OK. The staff was very nice and always tried to help. But the room was smelling like mold!! We’ve let the windows open the whole time, so the room wasn’t smelling like mold after, but the bathroom didn’t had a window, so it always smelled like mold. Due to the open windows it was very loud. If you want a good sleep, I don’t recommend you this property, even if the windows were closed, it was too loud and noisy. We asked if it was possible to get gluten-free breakfast for one of our friends and if it’s possible to leave out everything with pork from the breakfast basket, they told us that it was possible. The first day we got a box with cheese and pork mixed in one and a pack of gluten free bread. The next day, after we told them again that we asked for pork free meals the left out the pork-ham. The third day it was again everything with pork AND no gluten-free bread anymore…. at the end we asked them to give us back the money for the breakfast because we couldn’t eat anything at all. The breakfast at all wasn’t good anyways.

Great hotel within walking distance of everything you want to see.

Extremely responsive and helpful management. Wonderful fresh breakfast delivered daily in a basket. Only blocks away from the best restaurants in Ponta Delgada.
