Stayed one night. Not sure if because of renovation, the reception area wasn't very welcoming, pretty much self check-in set up but staffed too. Busy hotel, popular pool, gym, need to wait your turn for sauna & steam room but Impressed with facilities. Room service food was basic. The room definitely need updating and shower pressure not great. Overall fine though, would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Village Hotel during the NYE. The room was big and spacious. Good location near the grocery.

Disappointing poorly managed hotel. 2nd night of stay room not serviced. Restaurant menu poor amd limited no fish just lots of burgers and chips chaotic service and management non existent. Requested a printed receipt at end of stay printer did not work according to another guest waiting to check out regular occurrence

Room was very standard for the money. No phone and room service has to be booked via an app. Room service not available from the app. On the second night I tried to order food from the bar to be told no food available. If it wasn’t for the excellent reception staff I would not have been able to get any food. The only good think about the stay was the excellent staff on reception.

self check in didn't work. the room was ok but the window was draughty and the bathroom door required brute force to open it from the outside and virtually impossible from inside.
for us the lighting was inadequate just lamps so to read you had to be directly under one.
menu in grill bar was limited mainly burger and chip or ultra healthy salads nothing in between.
