奇麗達勒飯店(Giritale Hotel)

Stayed 3 nights from 28th August 2023 with 4 other friends. Have to thank Thilini first who sorted out the accommodation and the safari. The Girtitale Tank view from the rooms and from the Verandah is amazing .The staff was excellent , ever ready to serve the guests with a smile . The food was excellent , Anoj and his team made sure that the guests had good meals. The hoppers made and served by the Chef Indrani was the highlight of the breakfast. All in all had a great time.

Amazing hotel beautiful view. Chef Palitha Mr Anoj and his team spoilt us with all the yummy food possible. Everything we requested and more! Food was so good! Mrs Indrani 's hoppers were amazing! Hotel staff was always with a smile and looked after us like family. Rooms had a beautiful view and very comfortable. Close proximity to watch the elephant gathering, ancient ruins and Somawathi chaithya. Had a lovely relaxing time having a beer or coffee overlooking the beautiful scenery in the evening. Highly recommended!

Best view Girithale lake super friendly staff good food best hopper lady Beautiful hotel in a wonderful location. The buffet was very good, and I loved the food. There are plenty of places for sightseeing in and around the hotel, and the service was good. The pool is also great. An excellent place to stay for nature lovers.

306 was the room and the view was amazing. Clean room with AC/Hot water. Staff was super friendly. We had buffet for both dinner and breakfast. Both are in combination of eastern and western. **** Keep in mind that the deep end of the pool is 3 meters if you are cant swim.

We as a family with 2 young children stayed at this hotel for 1 night. It is a hotel in a beautiful location, with okay facilities. The hotel is quite old but they are busy renovating. The rooms are recently renovated and beautifully decorated. The facilities are fine but hopefully they will also be renovated soon. It still felt a bit 70s in our opinion. The food was delicious and we were made very welcome by the staff.

A reasonable buffet. We didn't try the a la carte options (if there were any). The room was okay but a slightly strange shape and the shower was weak. Great views across a lake though and particularly good for early morning monkeys on the balcony.
