龐德羅莎嶺 A 民宿(Ponderosa Ridge A Bed & Breakfast)

We recently stayed at Ponderosa Ridge B&B during a visit to see family in the Placerville area of Nor Cal. This is a beautiful property with many trees and an apple orchard. The house is large and spacious with a wrap around porch furnished with rocking chairs. We stayed in the Garden Room which was nicely furnished and had a very comfortable bed. The attached bathroom was clean and neat with a whimsical shower tile design. Mornings were spent walking the property and enjoying the 24/7 coffee bar while rocking on the porch and enjoying the view. Breakfast was enjoyed at the large dining table. Bonnie is a very good cook and each meal was 5 star! This location is a perfect launch point for the many attractions in the area. Bill and Bonnie are most excellent hosts. We found that we had several things in common with them and they made us feel like family. We would definitely stay here again!

This is a gem. Tucked in 11 acres of forest & apple orchards - just beautiful and relaxing. The rooms are well appointed, comfortable & clean. Historical Placerville is close by with great restaurants & fun shops. Famous Apple Hill & beautiful wineries to visit - what more could you ask for. We will definitely be going back.

What an absolutely wonderful stay! The couple hosting were absolutely lovely; they were responsive, courteous, and kept a lovely home. My partner and I stayed in the "Rover Room", which is their dog-friendly/pet-friendly room. I was expecting it to have some amenities available, but they were above-and-beyond; there were dog hiking books, treats, dog bowls, and fantastic decorations. It made it seem like if you stayed in the Rover room, you would definitely want to bring a pet, or else you would feel like you were missing out, haha! The decorations were great. My friend stayed in the Western-themed room, which also had fantastic decorations. Everything was so clean. You could tell the couple took pride in their work. I highly recommend going! It is also super duper close to some great wineries, and just a short drive to some good hiking locations (we went to the Lava Cap winery and did a fantastic wine tasting for $15/person). Ooh, and boy-oh-boy, when they say they make breakfast, they mean it! We had a specialty St. Patrick's breakfast with potatoes, corn beef (for the meat eaters), asparagus cheese omelets for the vegetarians, and even pistachio pudding. In the evenings, we took advantage of the hot tub and of the game room.

Great bed and breakfast! Comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast, hot tub! Bonnie and Bill are such great hosts - they can recommend restaurants and wineries. They are delightful! For any runners...drive about 5 minutes to the El Dorado trail...beautiful, paved trail.

This place is fantastic. The couple that own it are very nice. Plan on returning for another stay. The breakfast served was cooked with loving care. You receive personal attention. The upkeep on this Inn is outstanding. The owners treat you like family.

What a wonderful stay; Bill and Bonnie were gracious and accommodating hosts, the food was excellent, and the entire establishment was sparkling clean. We enjoyed the hot tub, played pool in the game room, and enjoyed reading on the wide deck and the view of pine trees. Ponderosa Ridge is what all B&Bs should aspire to be. Grant and Kathy Young

Bonnie and Bill are sweet people and excellent hosts. The property, home, rooms, beds, etc were all very nice. We stayed for two nights but would've loved to have had more time. Bonnie absolutely crushes breakfast...seriously two of the most amazing meals. The bnb is positioned right in the midst of Apple Hill with 20+ farms and wineries to tour. Historic downtown Placerville is a 5 minute drive and very cool. Great bars, restaurants and shopping. Highly recommend the Independent Restaurant and Bar, Powell's Steamer Co & Pub and The Green Room.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying with Bill and Bonnie a couple weeks back. What a "gem" as they say. When we pulled up (and into a gated property) Bill greeted us from the deck. Bill gave us great recommendations for wineries and we were able to wine taste with fee waived at 2 wineries we visited. We also got discounts on wine! Bonnie also is a wonderful baker and she made a super nice breakfast each morning of our stay. They are literally around the corner from Abels Farms and are right in the heart of apple hill. Both wineries were no more than a mile away. Rooms are decorated very cute, with different themes. They had robes and slippers in the closet, a hot tub in a gazebo, and the room was nicely renovated. Bill and Bonnie are very kind and accommodating hosts. Super great stay and I recommend them highly.

Our hosts were great and the room came with a complimentary bottle of local wine which was quite good. Breakfast was outstanding all fresh and homemade. Make sure you go to Fenton Herriot winery. Great wine and service.
