The lobby had music much too loud. It was like walking into a club. I couldn’t understand the clerk at the counter. Somebody’s idea of ambiance is inappropriate to the location. That (presumably) manager should be replaced with someone sober.
The room thermostat was frustrating to use. I’m not sure the temperature could be adjusted. If it could there was little apparent effect.
The parking experience was irritating. I never use valet parking and being forced to use it because there is nowhere else to park at $42/day way a significant additional expense. It also left us on foot for fear of incurring yet more expense. The nearby restaurants accessible on foot were of middling to poor quality. It was attempting to be way too trendy for what it was.
