I booked my vacation through *******.ca and was disappointed to discover that airport transfers were not included in the package. When I contacted ******* for assistance, I was initially advised to hire a taxi or contact the resort for assistance. After further communication, they promised to follow up on the matter, but never responded. Consequently, I had to pay $120 USD for each 30-minute taxi ride. This was the first time airport-resort transfers were not included in the vacation package.
Additionally, my friend lost his phone during our stay at the resort. We promptly reported it to the concierge and front desk, following up for two days. They claimed no lost items were reported in the past three days. Later, we learned from another guest that a lost phone had been turned in, suggesting possible foul play by hotel staff. Two days after reporting the lost phone, a manager had us fill out a declaration, We were informed that it would take an additional 72 hours for security to access and review the footage and determine the phone's whereabouts. Regrettably, we had to check out two days later, leaving the issue unresolved.
Throughout our stay, there was a noticeable emphasis on maximizing profits from guests.
Given these experiences, I won't book with ******* again and will avoid this resort.
