Definitivamente es el mejor hotel en la Riviera Maya!! la atención es fabulosa! La comida riquísima, el personal tiene un trato excepcional, las habitaciones hermosas e impecables. Tiene amenidades para todas las edades y muchas. Recomendado ampliamente para todo tiempo de viajes (familiar, amigos, parejas)

The Rosewood truly takes hospitality to another level. We were greeted with drinks, then taken to registration. A boat took us to our suite over the water. We had 2 bicycles waiting outside our front door, which we rode around the impeccably groomed grounds each morning. The breakfast surpassed anything we could imagine. We stayed 4 days and had dinner at a different restaurant on site each evening. All were very good. Every employee at Rosewood went well above and beyond to care for us.

This was the third visit in the last three years to Rosewood Mayakoba for my wife and I, and once again it did not disappoint. The beaches are beautiful, food and drinks delicious, the rooms huge and relaxing, and the service is absolutely second to none. Whether it's the personal butler service, beach service, or any restaurant staff, they all do an incredible job of pampering you and providing you anything you could possibly need. Can't wait to come back

It pains me to write reviews like this, but I get a lot of value from other TA reviews and thought this might help others. Overall, my husband and I had a good time at Rosewood Mayakoba, mostly because it's beautiful and functional, and we decided to enjoy ourselves, but we wouldn't return and or recommend the resort to others. The service did not approach 5 stars for us. At a price like this, especially with other beautiful resorts in the same complex, we expected a pretty seamless experience. For reference, our last beach resort experience was Bawah, which is a totally different level in terms of service, privacy, food, and ecology. The good/great: * Outstanding breakfasts at Casa del Lago and cocktails at Zapote * Probably the friendliest staff we have ever interacted with anywhere * Nicely appointed and very clean interior (we stayed in an overwater suite) * Beautiful, if crowded, grounds * Great bats and birds in the area, if you know what you're looking for * Not buggy (I am extremely attractive to mosquitoes and wore DEET in the evenings. I was bitten five times over four days, probably mostly in the La Ceiba garden) The not great: * While the individual staff were all extremely kind, the service overall was subpar. There were clearly communication problems and we did not feel any particular presence of a 'butler' to coordinate the stay. Every day we had at least two hiccups that affected plans. Some examples: -- Housekeeping started working on our room one morning while we were in the gym, causing us some delays in getting to breakfast, so the next morning, we texted the customer service/butler app (which they ask guests to use) early to let them know the 40-minute window we'd need to use the room. We arrived back 10 min into the window, and housekeeping was there, and she did not leave until well after the window closed. The morning after that, we said we'd let them know when we had left for the morning by text, but someone still dropped by to clean quite early, before we'd sent anything. -- The dinner reservations were especially uncoordinated. We were given the wrong date for one dinner. We did not learn until the day of that a birthday reservation at a restaurant suggested to us for the event involved a prix fixe meal with only one mediocre vegetarian option (the standard one the restaurant serves). People didn't get back to us when they said they would about reservations, our pick-up was late for one dinner (try to get the boat ride to Saffron, if you go, our visit was planned to late to get it), etc. -- A small thing but indicative of larger attention to detail: before we arrived, we were asked to complete several redundant forms (e.g., supplying the names of guests multiple times). One asked us to confirm a nightly rate that was not specified in the form. It shows some lack of consideration for guests' time. Absolutely incredible! My husband and I, along with our 11 month old son (his first international trip!), just got back from a 5 night stay at Rosewood Mayakoba in the beachside lagoon view suite (508). We were blown away, not only by the beauty of the resort and the suite itself, but by the genuine kindness of each and every staff member. The attention to detail was top notch. We stayed here because we kept hearing wonderful things about how family friendly it was - and that's absolutely true! The entire staff made us feel so warm and welcome. Every single person is willing to help you and go above and beyond to make sure your stay is nothing short of perfect. And they always remembered my son's name everywhere we went, which I thought was so special and sweet! Special shoutout to our butler, Denisse, our server at Aqui Me Quedo, Fabio, our boat driver, Pedro, and Miguel at Casa del Lago! He always had a smile on his face. Also - we cannot thank our babysitter, Gizelle, enough for watching our son for two nights so my husband and I could have a date night! She had the most kind and calming presence and I instantly felt comfortable leaving my baby in her hands. One major aspect l appreciated was the separation of adults only/families for the pool and breakfast dining. It wasn't that long ago that my husband and I were that kid-free couple on vacation - so I think it's great that Rosewood gives adults their own space. Plus, as a mom, I feel more comfortable (and not as guilty) if my child has a meltdown at the table, since we're surrounded by other families and children. The housekeeping team was absolutely incredible. They came twice a day, for a daily clean and then a turndown service, and they didn't miss a single thing. Completely above and beyond, and it showed. The food was some of the best l've had at a resort destination. They did a great job of featuring authentic Mexican cuisine but also adding a twist (for example, Agave Azule was Mexican with an Asian flare). That was definitely our favorite restaurant. Ha sido un placer qued**** en este lugar, nos fuimos a un hotel cercano( estamos aquí ahora ) y se nota la diferencia. Deseamos reconocer al equipo que hace la limpieza, a los chicos que manejan los carritos y a todo el personal de la playa. Nuestros mayordomos fueron muy atentos también. Una mención especial a Ivan Gutierrez quien siempre se mostro disponible y al pendiente de nosotros, tambien Axel de la barra fue un encanto. Nos vemos pronto!
