Candlewood Suites 達拉斯普萊諾東理查森(Candlewood Suites Dallas Plano East Richardson)

I went to visit my daughter for a few days. On the first day of our trip her car broke down on the highway, very scary experience. The brakes were gone and the alternator died at the same time. We had to have the car towed to a shop. We spent a couple of days at the hotel just visiting. The hotel was so clean and the staff were friendly. We had a meal one night with salad and soup, very good food. The most impressive part of it was the compassion and service that Adam showed us. I called the front desk to ask if they had nail polish remover, he said the didn't have it, but in about an hour Adam called me and asked me to come downstairs. When I got downstairs, Adam had bought me nail polish remover and cotton pads as a gift from his own hard earned money. He was such a kind and considerate person. The world needs more Adam's. Lady at front desk was very nice and informative. Room was clean, comfortable and plenty of room. My only issue was the smell in the hallway (3rd floor). It was bad...really bad. During the night I started smelling it off and on. My stay was short...checked in late evening and checked out the next morning, so I didn't report it. But would have said something if my stay had been longer.

Staff was professional and courteous. Main areas were clean and quiet. Our bed was comfortable, the room clean, and the overall stay went well. Our room was on the freeway side of the hotel, so we found the highway noise to be quite loud. We were also located across from the cleaning supply closet and maintenance room, so the constant slamming of the interior doors was also quite loud. I would stay here again, but I would request the non-freeway side of the hotel and I would request not to be located near the staff supply rooms. Parking is in back and “feels” unsafe which was concerning.

The TV was not working both nights and no hair dryer in room. The staff was as helpful as possible but direct tv was not helpful, kept disconnecting or transfering them to lines that were not staffed. The room was next to elevator and noisy. They could not give me another room as they were completely booked. It appears i did receive comp. Would still stay again with them as the staff were helpful and courteous.

I had moderately high expectations however was disappointed by the condition of the hotel and administrative services. I was there for over 3 weeks and had coffee available less than 1/3 of the time. The every 6 days clean was more like every 10 days. The bathroom tile was fractured and the subfloor was depressed 1 cm. The cleaning staff was great when they did clean my room.

There was a 15 minute wait to check in due to the front desk person being a no call no show but the manager eventually showed up at the front desk to help out and was friendly and helpful. The facility were clean and smelled good. The rooms were spacious as well.

Great Location, but inside need more washers and Dyers .
