El Gran Sueno Boutique Hotel & Apartamentos - Adults Only

Hemos disfrutado muchísimo de nuestra estancia en El Gran Sueño. El hotel es precioso, la habitación amplia, camas y almohadas muy cómodas y sobre todo los anfitriones Javier y Dave, que no pueden ser más atentos y amables. Aconsejo cenar en el hotel al menos una noche para probar la cocina de Dave. Es un cocinero excepcional, lo cuida todo al detalle. Desde el pan que hace él mismo hasta el arroz con leche, todo exquisito. Se nota que cuida mucho la materia prima y usa productos de la zona. El entorno tiene muchísimas posibilidades. Nosotros hemos hecho rutas de senderismo saliendo desde el mismo hotel, otra ruta preciosa por acantilados cogiendo el coche a 30min y también hemos visitado pueblos bonitos por la zona. Nos quedan muchas cosas pendientes para la próxima visita ( Oviedo, Gijón o incluso Picos de Europa). En definitiva, un lugar ideal para desconectar de la ciudad, reconectar con la naturaleza y comer estupendamente. Justo lo que buscábamos. Y de regalo nos llevamos unas cuantas recetas de Dave :)

El sitio espectacular y la atención inmejorable. Un lugar para escapar del mundo y parar el tiempo. La atención de los propietarios fue exquisita. Desayuno a la altura de las expectativas. Si podemos y tenemos tiempo repetiremos. De lo mejor en donde hemos estado alojados.

El Gran Sueño is an elegantly comfortable hotel in pastoral surroundings. The hosts are superb and the meals were delicious. This was a highlight of our Asturias adventure. We had a very nice three day stay between Christmas and New Year's eve ; the place is very confortable, and well located. We had breakfasts and a very enjoyable dinner. Our hosts, Javier and Dave, paid much attention to our needs and confort. Their new website gives a lot of useful information to discover the surroundings and find good spots to have dinner or lunch. We will definitely come back soon if we can.

The rave reviews led us to this lovely inn. It ended up being our best stay in our visit to northern Spain. It is a remote location, which adds to the charm. There are many walks you can take from the inn. The walks are in beautiful countryside dotted with houses, cow pastures and small farm plots. You walk through the tiniest hamlets imaginable. A short drive brings you to some lovely small towns and a park surrounding a mountain stream. We had breakfasts and dinners for our 3 nights there. Dave's cooking is sublime.

El Gran Sueno is a gem and a fantastic place to explore Asturias. The house and garden are beautiful and amazingly set and our room was stylish, comfortable (and spotless). But what really makes this place special is Javier and Dave. They are lovely hosts and could not be more kind or helpful. To add to all this, Dave is simply a superb cook. Both the breakfasts and the evening meals were a joy.

Our stay was as brilliant as the previous 6! Dave and Javier run the perfect hotel, in the perfect location, for a very relaxing holiday. There are beautiful stretches of coastline to visit and Asturias is a memorable region and not too hot! Add to that the delicious meals at breakfast and dinner and you couldn't stay anywhere better or more welcoming.

A fabulous spot in the hills and farmlands near Pintueles, Asturias. Javier and Dave are wonderful hosts, and our dinner on our first night was absolutely delicious. We stayed in the s/c Studio - beautifully decorated and designed. Their attention to detail is 100%. Everything you wanted was there. We loved our stay, and highly recommend El Gran Sueno.

Dave and Javier were very welcoming and knowledgeable on the local area. Our butlers Carson and Franklin were very friendly dogs and we enjoyed their company relaxing in the garden. The hotel was exceptionally clean and tidy and the mountain view from our balcony room were breathtaking! Breakfast was served every morning with home made sourdough bread, the effort and care put into the cooking made the food that extra bit delicious. I enjoyed my book to the sound of cowbells and birds and the natural beauty around the house. Overall our stay was relaxing and care free. Thanks to Javi and Dave!
