Relaxing new year weekend Had a wonderful stay at a wonderful pub. Location is perfect and character of the pub is amazing. Lovely locally brewed beer and great food. Bad timing on our part that the brewery was closed so couldn't do the tour but gives u great excuse to go back.

Lovely old pub with log burner in bar, friendly staff and locals, made very welcome. Stayed three nights in the four poster room, situated outside of main building but ideal for our two small dogs. Home cooked meals, very good and generous, good range of ales, most from adjoining brewery. Located in the countryside, highly recommended.

Ok. We had a room above the bar, bed comfortable but the bathroom let the property down. It was old, and that’s ok but it needed a really good clean. We ate in the bar and the food was ok, as was breakfast.it’s a nice traditional pub with rooms, not sure if we would return to stay the night.
