This review is to spare those looking for rest and relaxation because you will definitely not find it here. This place is a complete disaster and do yourself a favor and save your hard earned money. What was supposed to be a mini holiday soon became the worst trip ever. Why? Let me count the ways... Check in: The entire experience was a red flag. My Spouse and I were completely disregarded and told "no rooms available" even with a reservation. The staff was completely rude and tone deaf to the fact that whatever is being published on *********** is a lie What is Advertised: Private Beach - Not true. The resort does not allow you to bring towels to the "beach". We tried to access a stretch of beach and we were swiftly kicked out due to not having the correct color bracelet. No Seats. No Umbrellas. All sea****. Smell like a sewer. Just awful. Very rocky and dirty. Accommodations: Room is very outdated. Smells moldy. No hand soap in the restroom. Shower cover broken. Paid for a view - did not get a view. TV did not work at all. No working AC in the hotel. No snack shops. The glassware and silverware at the buffet are dirty. We were also told if we would like to enjoy the grounds to sunbathe you need to sit on grounds that are covered in ****s and pine needles. The pool is also very dirty. Food: Poor quality. Cold. The same food everyday. Chicken nuggets for breakfast. dirty scrambled eggs. Warm juices and dirty glasses. No healthy options. No onsite convenience store. Plan on walking to search for bottled water. Everything smells like garlic or sewage. Parking: The hotel takes your keys. Plan on parking on a slope and not having access to parking. The parking is at a raggedy abandoned building. Very sketchy and beware. Overall: This is entire trip was very stressful and it totally made me turned off from this place. Avoid at all costs. We were totally cat fished.

. We arrived late at night, about 11pm. Our transfer driver did not know where the entrance to the hotel was located, so he dropped us off at the entrance to what looked like someone's garden, no lighting, no direction markers, no sign of a hotel. A couple of locals took us and our luggage through the trees and car park to hotel reception. We were not expected, there was some confusion as to who we were, who our travel agent was and how long we were staying. Eventually got checked in, then taken on a 10 minute walk along the sea front to the hotel we would be staying in, the Crystal wellness and spa which is connected to the Palace lux hotel. Fairly new with nice rooms on 8 floors, all rooms have balconies in the Crystal. The room had a three seater fold out bed, a superking bed, a mini bar, a TV, free WiFi, lots of storage, an electronic safe, and a nice big bathroom. A couple of downsides, the bathroom wall between it and the living area is clear glass. If you like your privacy, you're out of luck. The view from our balcony was 40% garden/sea view, 60% a derelict building site. Breakfast is buffet style, all the usual stuff, hot drinks, tepid diluted juice, tap water, streaky bacon, three types of egg, sausage with a skin so thick a steak knife would not cut it, salad items, cereals, prepared fruits, yoghurt, cold meats and cheeses and many varieties of bread with jam or Nutella and warm sweet or savoury pastries fresh from the oven. It is the same fare every day, but we have had worse. Dinner is again buffet style but not as varied as we would have liked. Usually, one each of fish, pork or chicken dish, a concoction of vegetables and potatoes done as either wedges or chunks dripping in garlic butter (all cooked nicely but only warm, never hot). Fresh prepared fruit, salad items, and small desserts, which usually disappeared within minutes of being put out. Although we were half board, after 3 nights of the same old same old, we decided to eat out on an evening Although the room we were given didn't have the best view, we were happy not to be in the main building, Not the hotels fault I know, but the locals never seem to smile. They will not queue, and if you inadvertently happen to get in front of a moving one they will barge right through you. Monte***** is a beautiful country along most of the coastline, mountainous, rugged, and quaint villages dotted about but it's people are not the friendliest we've come across. It is cheaper than it's northern neighbour Croatia even though it has adopted the Euro, but it just lacks the friendlier attitude and superior customer service. Probably will not visit again, but it's crossed off the list.

nice hotel with affordable prices. the service is excellent, I am especially satisfied with the maids because everything is so clean that I have no words. we took a room on the first floor and it was quite quiet with a beautiful view of the beach. all recommendations

Disorganized, poor entrance, poor parking space, unpolite staff, not looking the same as on pictures, our room was not available, although we called several times to inform that we are going to arrive late afternoon. We were offer accomodation at other place for first two days and it was not suitable as I was traveling with older person. As we didn't accepted, we were bullied by reception staffa and manager, so we decided to leave and find ourselves another place to stay.

I want to recommended this hotel to everyone who travel with family. It has very nice rooms and pool. Service is best i had, housekeepers are very generous and they do their job very professional. Beach is near and view is very nice. Stuff smiling all the time and the food is good for my opinion.

I visited here from 16th to 23rd October with my daughter. We were given a lovely family suite which had two rooms, a double bed and a single bed, a mini fridge and safe. We also had a large balcony, with a wonderful view of trees and mountains. There were a couple of things at the beginning eg battery in safe not working, and some toiletries missing, but Ivan, the Manager, a most charming and helpful man sorted it out immediately. The cleaning and catering staff were most helpful. I have to say that the linen and towels were extremely clean. We went for breakfast and evening meals and there was a wide variety of food available to suit all tastes, the best for me being the local produce, eg pastries, yoghurt and cheeses, fish and chicken dishes, salads, courgette fritters, grapes and fresh fruit. The hotel has a pool surrounded by pomegranate, olive and pine trees, and the path through the gardens leads directly to the beach. The town is lovely with a beach and boat trips available,(as well as trips elsewhere in Monte*****) and a wonderful local bakery where you can buy nice food for lunch. There is also a sea front café which serves homemade lemonade. The weather was variable, but above 20 degrees C and on some days 25 degrees C and full sunshine, so perfect for swimming. All in all, a great deal. I can definitely recommend. Just be aware that Euros are preferred to cash in some places, and you will need these when buying local bus tickets, for local bus trips, or in smaller cafés, though larger places and restaurants will take cards. There are a few cash machines along the sea front and at the back of one of the hotels, but they will take a small charge along the charge made by your card, so you are better off taking out a larger amount at a time.

Pretty good hotel for a short stay, i have choose both breakfast and dinner and it was great selection of meals. My room was clean and on high hygiene level when i checked in, also new flat TV, and bathroom with towels,paper, soaps,etc... Terrace was nice, unfortunately i didn't have a view to the sea but i don't mind it

i have had some business in Budva, so i needed place to stay for 3 days, contacted hotel, they remembered me from the summer vacation, gave me great deal for 2 nights with breakfast included. This time everything was pretty much better, due to less people, rooms are cleaner, pool is cleaner and not crowded ( still warm water ).

We have already been here in the summer, and we had some free days and decided to go again for 5 days to relax a little bit. Everything was again nice and clean. I must say that food was a little bit better in the summer but it's not a problem. The beach and sea is way more cleaner now than in the middle of the season
