暮光青年旅館(Twilight Hotel Petra)

It was reasonable condition & price. The staff was friendly and kind. Food was good! But the shower booth wasn't drained so well 😅

Un hôtel très très propre, au calme sur les hauteurs de Pétra. L'accueil est top, le petit déjeuner très copieux, servi sur leur terrasse couverte avec une très belle vue, les chambres sont très spacieuses ainsi que la salle de bain . Nous avons aussi testé le dîner qui est très bon et préparé par la maman. Nous avons payé 10 JOD par personne pour plusieurs entrées, le plat (Mansaf) et le dessert. Seul petit bémol : c'est un peu loin du centre pour sortir le soir à pied , il faut prendre la voiture mais c'était notre choix car nous voulions être au calme et vu les concerts de klaxon toute la nuit, on a bien fait de se mettre à l'écart! Parking gratuit et Wifi à disposition N'hésitez pas à appeler le propriétaire qui viendra vous chercher si vous avez du mal à trouver, il le fait spontanément! Un hôtel que je recommande vraiment ! Points forts de l'hôtel: Beau panorama · Calme · Adapté aux enfants · Bon rapport qualité prix Chambres: Très spacieuses et lumineuses, dotées chacune d'une très grande salle de bain. Il y a la clim et la literie est impeccable. Les chambres dites luxueuses ont un lit King size, un balcon adorable donnant sur la vallée. Chaque chambre a sa salle de bain (ne pas se fier à la trad anglaise qui traduit salle de bain commune!) Plats et boissons: C'est la maman qui prépare les dîners, un vrai régal. Du thé est proposé systématiquement et l'eau est comprise dans le prix du diner

It would be a decent stay for half the price. However, at this price, there are better alternatives. For North American travellers, Motel-6 would be a huge upgrade. The bed isn't comfortable. The bedsheet doesn't cover the entire mattress. You get two towels for the stay (no bathmats) that aren't replaced unless you ask. Our bathroom sink had no water pressure. Our shower never had hot water, but others said after 5-7 minutes the water heated up, so maybe we didn't wait long enough. The breakfast was the most basic and worst out of all our 10 nights in Jordan. We met two other couples that had similar issues; one of them checked out early as well without getting a refund. The customer service is non-existent. We ended up leaving early to go to a different hotel so we could get a decent night's sleep. The owner said he couldn't refund us, which is fair. However, he offered not to charge us for the dinner and the lunchbox. When we went to settle the bill, he decided to charge us anyway because "he wasn't able to rent out the room to someone else." Why would he want to rent the room he already billed us for? That doesn't seem very ethical. Either way, not a bad place if it was cheaper, but I'd temper your expectations. There are better properties around for less money. EDIT: the owner used the booking phone number I used with ******* to send me threatening messages after my review. That is highly unprofessional and unacceptable.

We stayed in a Comfort Twin Room - I hadnt been aware that this had a shared bathroom, but looking back, it was not a huge problem. We were never waiting to use it, and never saw who we were sharing with. The hotel is lovely, family run, and the staff are kind. The breakfast room overlooks Wadi Masa which is beautiful. Our room was stunningly clean, could not fault it. We were however, just off the reception which couldnt sometimes be a little loud. It is quite a way from Petra and I'm glad we have a car, while good says it would have been a 35-40 minute walk - this is non-stop uphill (and we are fit people). We drove down to Petra, and down for dinner - you would struggle without a car (although I have read other reviews which say the owner is willing to drive you down!) We were also offered a lunch bag for Petra at 5JOD each which was perfect to avoid paying out the nose. Highly recommend - simply for the hospitality and the owners.

We highly recommend staying here! It's fairly new and everything in the room was in pristine condition. We were happy to have a room near the front desk, where we had quick access to hotel staff if we needed anything. Breakfast was simple, tasty, and gave us the fuel we needed to start our day off right before heading into Petra. We also opted for the home cooked dinner, which was amazing. The portion sizes were huge and the meal of chicken, rice, salad, potatoes, and dessert was delicious! Being in the hotel dining room is an experience in and of itself, but it has a beautiful view of the city. The hotel is also within walking distance of a family-friendly park, which also has gorgeous scenic views of the area. The hotel staff is very friendly. The manager spent a generous amount of time walking us through strategies to get the best experience in Petra and other areas of Jordan, which worked out great!

Emplacement parfait dans un logement propre et accueillant. Rapport qualité/prix imbattable! Les plats maisons offert en surplus au souper sont délicieux et très généreux. Momen est fantastique, toujours la pour aider et voir a ce que vous ne manquez de rien. Et quel vue sur la ville! Je recommande fortement Merci Momen !

Bon rapport qualité-prix pour Petra. Le responsable et son frère sont très agréable et serviable. La propreté et l'état général de l'hôtel est à souligné car c'est très propre comparé aux hôtels en Jordanie. La maman prépare de délicieux dîner. L'hôtel dispose d'une très belle vue sur la ville. Je recommande fortement.

Im Twillight sehr gute Erfahrung gemacht. Moman (der Besitzer) ist sehr korrekt und freundlich und hat uns bei unserer Reiseplanung sehr gut unterstützt. Transfers zum Visitor Center waren selbstverständlich und auch weiterführende Trips wurden von ihm arrangiert. Das von ihm vermittelte Essen war hervorragend.
