馬塞爾飯店(Hotel le Marcel)

Location is perfect, close to a major train station with connection to the metro, busses, etc. super easy to get around and it’s too far from anything.

El hotel es pequeño pero tiene lo suficiente para ofrecer un buen descanso después de un largo día de tour. Las habitaciones están limpias, aunque un poco pequeñas. Durante nuestra estancia se descompuso el elevador. Duro descompuesto varios días eso nos incomodó. El hospedaje incluye el desayuno, lo cual es una muy buena opción para los turistas, pues te facilita mucho las cosas y te permite ahorrar tiempo si ya tienes programados tours por la ciudad. El staff es atento, a excepción de una chica de color que atiende en la recepción. Es poco amable. Por el contrario, Antoine y una chica que atiende en el comedor, de cabello oscuro que se peina con una coleta y cuyo nombre nunca pregunte, Siempre fueron muy amables. El hotel está muy cerca del metro, lo cual te ayuda a movilizarte por la ciudad sin mayor problema. Lo único que francamente no nos gusto, es la calle sobre la que se encuentra el acceso al hotel. La verdad es que está muy fea y sucia.

The stay in Marcel was awfull! I felt like the hotel was a fraud. It havent seen 4stars and looks much better in the picture what it really is. The street is really noisy and sleeping was impossible even with ear blugs. The rooms are not sound proof at all and you can hear other people clearly trough walls. There is no real lobby there. Infront of the hotel door there is homeless people living and you have to use a doorbell everytime you want to get in, tells something about the area. The room or common areas were not clean. I was really dissapointment, hope we didint get any bugs from there!

The main benefit for staying at this hotel is the location, as it is directly in front of the East Train Station in Paris, on the opposite side of the street. This was also the reason why I chose this. Check in is on the first floor, so you have to get in and up one level. Staff was nice, the rooms were ok.

Our experience was very good, the staff went beyond their duties to make us more comfortables and to make our stay of 12 nights very enjoyable. The location is super and very centric since the public transportation is easy and effective to use. The rooms were clean the beds very comfortable. The size of the rooms are good.
