Esperienza più che deludente; anzitutto la camera prenotata, ovvero una suite, era piccola e a malapena ci stavano le valigie, poco illuminata e priva d'armadio e cassetti, solo un ridicolo rack con qualche appendino dove non si poteva mettere nulla, nel bagno non vi era le cuffie da doccia, né fazzoletti o altro, solo saponi e qualche cotton fioc. Consiergerie inesistente che qualsiasi cosa gli si chiedesse per quanto riguarda ristoranti ed altri luoghi nei dintorni, rimandava al numero generale dell'albergo, in poche parole c'era da arrangiarsi. Chiedere un caffè oltre l'orario di colazione/cena era fuori questione, dato che non vi era nessuno al bar, ma solo una persona alla consierge totalmente incapace di fare un semplice caffè . La vera nota dolente,però, è un'altra: al check in mi sono stati chiesti 600€ di deposito per gli "extra" nonostante fosse tutto già pagato in anticipo, una cifra a mio parere folle, dato che ho girato vari hotel di lusso e mai mi è stata chiesta tale cifra per a garanzia degli extra. Inoltre, mi era stato detto che al check out i soldi non utilizzati per coprire extra e tassa di soggiorno (la quasi totalità alla fine della nostra permanenza) mi sarebbe stati subito rimborsati ed invece, a distanza di quasi una settimana dal mio check out, non ho ancora rivisto l'ombra di un soldo. Ho chiamato la consiergerie per chiedere spiegazioni e mi sono state date solo risposte confuse e contrastanti. Insomma tanta scena e poca sostanza.

From start to finish the experience has been awful. The front desk is not equipped to even answer the phone much less provide answered to any questions about the neighborhood. My room which was a deluxe suite did not have even a tea kettle or a coffee pot. The room was very dark with the lightbulbs of very low wattage. The Toto toilet features were inoperable until the final day of my stay. There wet no salts for the lovely tub and no shower caps. The only thing provided in the bath were cotton balls and Q tips. On my final full day I called reception and just keep letting it ring for 28 minutes hoping they would answer. In that time I got dressed, brushed my teeth and finally went downstairs. They said something was wrong with their phones. Other guests were walking down in the night clothes. I inquired why there wasn’t a coffee/tea service in the room. She said there was and that it was in the bar. I speak passable French when the restaurant staff brought my breakfast they showed me a closet next to the bar which held a tea kettle and a mini bar but nothing else. When I checked in 3 days before it was not shown to me and the person giving me the tour said the doors led to another room. It was also very loud due to its proximity on the place des Voges but there were no ear plugs available. I so wanted to love the hotel and the room but it was a severe disappoin**ent. And for the 5 start price it was BARELY 3 star service. Everyone was polite and happy but there was no management and it seemed there was no grown up hotelier in charge. Don’t wast your time or get seduced by the room photos and romance of the Place des Voges. Cours des Voges didn’t warm my heart — it broke it.

The hotel is a real surprise--a very good surprise--the food was excellent. The lobby was very small, but it was enough and felt intimate, more so than small. The service, food and amenities were definitely the quality of a luxury hotel. The location was in walking distance of many restaurants and museums.

Bonito lugar, en el portal del parque. . Con excelente pastelería finamente servida con gran detalle y delicadeza. Servicio excelente. Este lugar tiene muchas cosas que ver a los alrededores, muchas galerías de arte y la casa de Víctor Hugo

A tiny hotel on one corner of a world-famous, 17th century square enclosing a park and fountain...reception area only about 10x20 with all materials in a shelved armoire ! Wonderfully helpful staff..bilingual..Antoine, Jasmine, and others. A small elevator, thank goodness..a spacious room..and a superb view. Only negative..a miserable kitchen and sidewalk restaurant..don't eat there..go across to the nearest corner to the Cafe Carette.

This hotel is a unique - a 300 year old building that's been wonderfully restored with view out to the most beautiful (IMO) square in Paris in the colest Paris hood. It's a comfy stay with all the amenities of a great hotel, except no restaurant (there is a cafe in the hotel and 100s of restaurants right outside your door). Plus, the mixed modern and historical design creates a museum-like vibe with cool art, chic furnishings, high ceilings, and killer views of the square. It's totally hard to top the ambiance here, and we had a blast during our stay. Okay, real talk: this hotel is pretty pricey. Yes, it's got a cool mix of modern and historical design, and the views of the square are amazing. And sure, you can cook in your room instead of going out to eat. But let's be real, not everyone wants to cook while they're on vacation. And with the cost of the room, you might not have much money left over for dining out. So while it's definitely a unique and comfortable place to stay, just be prepared to pay a premium for it.

In occasione di un compleanno ho deciso di prenotare 2 camere in quest'albergo che si affaccia su quella che è considerata la più (o quanto meno sicuramente una delle più ) bella piazza di Parigi.All'arrivo si resta un po' spiazzati dal fatto che non si viene ricevuti in un normale spazio dedicato alla reception (che in pratica non esiste perché tutte le pratiche vengono svolte tramite l'ausilio di un armadio che tutto contiene) ma nell'ingresso di un palazzo in cui si viene fatti accomodare e rinfrancati da una bevanda di benvenuto.A questa frugalità dell'ingresso però fa da contraltare una professionalità e gentilezza estrema del personale dedicato all'accoglienza dei clienti che vengono costantemente seguiti nelle loro esigenze e coccolati. Inoltre, le camere dell'albergo sono molto belle, curate nei particolari e spaziose.Tutte hanno la vista sulla piazza che ad ogni ora del giorno regala istanti di pura bellezza.Appena fuori dal portone d' ingresso c'è un locale in cui si può godere di una buona colazione o un pranzo veloce.Vorrei rivolgere un ringraziamento speciale ad Antoine e alla sua collega croata (che parla uno splendido italiano ma di cui ahimè non ricordo il nome) che hanno contribuito a rendere il nostro soggiorno veramente speciale,Ci torneremo.Grazie

Wir waren im Boulevardcafé dieses Fünfsternhotels um einen Snack zu geniessen und etwas zu trinken. Auf der Karte entdeckte ich einen Bordeaux Château Saint-Brice und weil dies mein Vorname ist, fragte ich, ob ich eine Flasche über die Gasse, also zum Mitnehmen kaufen kann. Die Flasche wurde mir dann in einer Papiertüte gebracht und das Erwachen folgte bei der Rechnung. Der Wein wurde zum vollen Preis, also wie wenn ich ihn im Lokal getrunken hätte, zu 75 Euro verrechnet, im Handel kostet der Wein rund 30-35 Franken. Das nenne ich Abzocke und eines Fünfsternhotels unwürdig. Zum Glück gibt es in Paris genügend Alternativen und ich muss nicht mehr in diesem Hause einkehren.
