作家飯店(Hotel des Ecrivains)

It was a great stay at the hotel. The staff were very friendly, nice and helpful. The rooms are nice, tidy and clean. For the double room that I stayed in, it wasn't very big but certainly a good size. It had everything needed like TV, kettle and hair dryer, a fan (it doesn't have air con) and a safe. It didn't have a fridge but I didn't need one. I had their breakfast when staying there. It was a great selection from cheese to ham to fruit salad, yogurts, pastry, cereal, juices, tea, coffee, boil your egg to your preferred softness/hardness. It was great breakfast. The location is very central and very convenient. There were lots of restaurants around and close to the metro station. And you get to see the "Teddy Bear" street. I would be happy to go back to the same place again!

Amazing location

J’ai passé trois nuits dans cet hôtel. Situé près de la Place d’Italie. Bien placé avec pleins de restaurants autour. Le personne était très agréable. Le gros défaut de l’hôtel c’est l’isolation des chambres. J’ai entendu trois nuits de suite mais voisins de chambre. La chambre était propre. Le petit déjeuner n’avait rien d’extraordinaire, j’ai connu bien mieux dans des hôtels du quartier dans la même gamme de prix

Fantastiskt hotell! Super trevlig och hjälpsamma personal, helt okej frukost. Det bästa med hotellet var att den låg så centralt och hade Metro nästan precis utanför som tog dig över allt, alltså behöver man inte använda taxi för något.

The room was nestled in one of Paris’s older buildings. Had big window; fine in October. But no air-conditioning. Thus, sleeping here during these summer heat waves was surely uncomfortable (had some fans). They put in an elevator that could accommodate one person with a suitcase. I found that most of the Paris big 7-storey buildings were built in the middle of 19th century and had no elevators. City is not very senior-friendly (I’m 67). We bought 2-day metro passes, but used metro only in the mornings, with all the stairs down and up and again down and up. Metro station is 3-5 minutes walk from the hotel. We used UBER when we were tired, which was also a part of seeing the sights and the nightlife. In room’s bathroom there was a deep, clean and slippery bath tub. Nothing to grab, if you happen to slip. We found, that most of European hotels in older buildings were not senior-friendly. We skipped the 15-Euro breakfast and ate outside. The staff was friendly and English-speaking. Overall, due to cool October nights, we had peaceful and comfortable sleep at this hotel.

2 nuits à 15 jours d’intervalle, chambres agréables, literie correcte. Gel douche, shampoing, savon et et crème pour le corps de la marque Algotherm agréables. Pression d’eau parfaite ce qui n’est pas toujours le cas dans d’autres hôtel, salle de bain au top la première fois mais douche très étroite lors de la seconde. Pas de clim mais des ventilateurs sont disponibles dans les chambres. Petit déjeuner correcte.

Après une nuit passée ici, le bilan est plutôt positif : chambre "club" assez grande au calme sur cour avec WC séparés et baignoire (la 67), literie très confortable, propreté impeccable et équipements satisfaisants // petit-déjeuner copieux, frais et varié / collaborateurs réception, service et ménage agréables et professionnels Les moins = il faisait très chaud et le ventilateur (installé dans chaque chambre) n'y changeait pas grand-chose / très faible pression de l'eau dans la baignoire, wifi capricieux, manque total d'insonorisation avec les couloirs// a l'arrivée avec 3 autres collègues, lors du check-in, la distribution des 4 clés fut un peu "rude" : le monsieur qui nous donnait nos clés nous appelait juste avec nos noms sans dire avant Monsieur ou Madame (exemple DUPONT, au lieu de MONSIEUR DUPONT) bon c'est un peu irrespectueux mais rien de grave néanmoins ! dans l'ensemble, séjour de qualité !

Sejour agréable, personnel a l'écoute, rien a redire, prix abordable
