Wow, this is the best boutique hotel we have ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived, the staff were just amazing. Extremely friendly and helpful. After our welcome drinks, Joana showed us around our stunning room, explaining how all the wonderful details worked. The decor is just out of this world, the furniture is like artwork; from our bed where you can electronically choose the firmness of the mattress, to the minibar which is also a radio. It’s really the perfect mix of old-world style with modern luxury. We enjoyed the views from the rooftop pool where you can order food and drinks by whatsaap. I loved that their breakfast menu lasts all day - local yogurt fruit and honey is the perfect poolside snack that I never knew I needed! The location is perfect, we walked to the harbour for a drink at sunset and found a quirky bar for dinner in the cute winding local streets. Our breakfast in the peaceful garden was included and we chose the pancakes with carob Nutella, which were delicious and not too sweet, with great coffee and an artisan buffet of beautifully prepared local treats. The Can Bordoy ethos is that they are a family and this can really be felt in the relaxed but attentive service. We can’t wait to come back.

This was my 50th birthday celebration and such an amazing place to celebrate! The full team were just so lovely and friendly 24/7. The building was just stunning. We had a suite with a bath on the balcony but the rest of the hotel was just amazing aswell. A total gem in a hot hot city centre!

Possibly the worst hotel room I have ever stayed in . I stay in hotels about 3 nights a week charging £400 per night for a room with little or no storage no tea or coffee making a window you can't see out is day light rubbery so disappointed it has spoiled my 60th birthday holiday.

We had a lovely stay at can bordoy, the rooms are beautiful and it is in a great location in the centre of the old town of Mallorca. Staff are friendly and helpful and the restaurant for dinner is very special. The main improvement (reason it doesn’t get 5* from me) is breakfast isn’t great, there isn’t fresh chopped fruit or cereals, there is bread but no toaster and the hot selection is fairly limited.

Excellant location for Palma City Centre. Staff were very attentive, ans accomadating. We only besides Breakfast, Lunch in the Garden Area. The only let dowm, was Breakfast. Slow sevoce, and food was cold. Suggest they allow people to access there own hot drinks, and they invest in a toaster!! Otherwise, brilliant hotel, highly reccomended.

El Hotel el general está diseñado con muy buen gusto, las habitaciones y baños son amplios, con decoración moderna, pero sin perder el encanto del edificio antiguo. Detalles como las flores frescas, el original mini bar, la comodidad de las camas, las sales para la tina, etc. hacen que uno se sienta realmente relajado. El hotel está localizado en el corazón de Mallorca, lo que es un plus. El desayuno es bastante especial, delicioso para adultos, pero para los niños y adolescentes no hay muchas opciones disponibles. El SPA se encuentra en remodelación. En cuanto a la limpieza, la habitación de adultos estaba siempre impecable, en la habitación de mis hijos nunca cambiaron los vasos para agua. En cuanto al personal, en su mayoría gente joven, llena de energía, pero considero que les falta más experiencia, tuvimos algunos inconvenientes: al llegar no había personal que nos ayude con las maletas (sabían a la hora que íbamos a llegar, por que pedimos el transfer con el Hotel), nos indicaron que pasáramos al jardín interno para brindarnos una bebida de cortesía, al dirigirnos al jardín estuvimos 15 minutos parados sin que nadie nos dirija a una mesa, hasta que pedimos una, luego de 20 minutos nos tomaron el pedido, y además de las bebidas pedimos un par de cosas para mis hijos, volvieron solo con las cosas de los niños y después de 20 minutos más preguntamos por las bebidas para los adultos, que se habían olvidado, después de esto pedimos la cuenta y nos dijeron que corre como cortesía del hotel, pero en el check out estaba cobrado el monto del valor, al final lo descontaron, pero fue incómodo. La tarjeta de una de las habitaciones dejó de funcionar, por algunas horas, no podían arreglar el inconveniente y el departamento de recepción y mantenimiento no tenían una comunicación eficiente, lo que hizo que perdiéramos algunas horas sin saber que el problema ya se había solucionado, lo que fue un poco molesto. Debo recalcar que el personal de mantenimiento fue siempre cordial y atento con mis hijos. Al final de la estancia nadie nos preguntó cómo fue nuestra estadía, fue un “Gracias y adiós”, nunca tuve una despedida tan fría en un hotel. Aún no nos envían la factura vía mail. El Hotel tiene mucho potencial, el personal también, falta más sonreír y saludar en todas las áreas del Hotel, no solo en el escritorio de recepción (en especial los chicos, las chicas son más carismáticas). Volvería? Si! Pero solo en compañía de adultos.

Nous sommes descendus 3 nuits dans cet hôtel très bel hôtel Très belle déco Tres bel emplacement dans le vieux Palma Mais le service pourrait être amélioré notamment lors de l accueil en évitant de montrer une petite pancarte avec un flash code lors d une simple question sur les horaires d ouverture de la piscine par exemple

Tucked away just off the main ***** opposite the marina is the Can Bordoy. A beautiful building with a fabulous downstairs area. Then you enter the rooms. The hotel is marketed as all suite. We'll I beg to differ. A suite is in my mind a bedroom with another room for a sofa etc TV with separate bathroom. We have indeed been lucky enough to stay in some proper suites around the world. Our room was in fact a bed with a heavy velvet curtain that separated the bathroom and toilet. It had a tiny window , black floor and was very very claustrophobic. Obviously a lot of issues arose from this arrangement namely for the ladies, no mirrors for putting on make up or doing your hair except the main bathroom mirror which obviously I would be using , then there's the steam issue leading to frizzy hair. Not good. The staff were excellent though very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. There's a minibar too, the a/c was terrible. It's actually controlled from reception and not the controls in the room and I wasn't the only one who kept going downstairs to complain about how hot the rooms were. The rooms were so bad we left 2 days early. Great staff , terrible rooms.
