Check-in experience was disappointing. Our reservation stated a 3 p.m. check-in, but when we arrived at 4 p.m., the room still wasn’t ready. We were told to wait another 30 minutes by a staff member at the bar (there’s no real front desk), but no explanation or gesture was offered — no drink, no voucher, nothing. For a boutique hotel, a bit of hospitality in that moment would’ve gone a long way. That said, once we got in, the rest of the stay was fine.

The rooms are beautifully updated with a modern, minimalist aesthetic that feels both luxurious and comfortable. However, there are notable downsides that detract from the experience. The televisions and remote controls are outdated and frustrating to use, reminiscent of technology from two decades ago. Additionally, the "front desk" setup is unconventional and awkward. Staff members use the bar as their workspace, which not only diminishes the bar's atmosphere but also creates confusion for guests seeking assistance. Service, unfortunately, is the property’s Achilles’ heel. During our visit, we waited at the bar for over five minutes without any acknowledgment or greeting. This lack of attentiveness was disappointing and took away from what could have been a seamless experience. Overall, The Arrival has incredible potential but needs to address its service and operational shortcomings to truly shine. For now, it’s a property better suited for those prioritizing style over substance.

Very overrated hotel and definitely not worth the money. No amenities at all. It’s like a motel with a pool. We couldn’t even get the tv working. Very very unpleasant experience for three nights. And paid an amount equivalent of a resort. Not recommended.

Nice property in an area that is great for shopping or getting something to eat. The coffee shop right out front is awesome as well! Bar staff were great and helped me check in at midnight after one phone call. Nice and clean room perfect for couples.
