My wife and I took our 3 kids to celebrate a 50th birthday. The service was spot on. From checkin to the meals and to checkout for that matter. Bollinger on arrival was wonderful to start. Food was good yet expensive. My quail was a bit undercooked. They asked if it was ok, I mentioned I thought it was undercooked, they offered to replace, I said there was no need. They too the Quail of the bill with me asking. We found it easy to relax and just enjoy the amazing view over Whale beach. Thoroughly enjoyable. Would go again.

We were a family of 5 and had such a great stay at Jonah's. The attention to customer service and ensuring the customers are delighted was evident before we even arrived. Every staff member was courteous and friendly and genuinely willing to help. The food at Jonah's is excellent. There is a great menu, an extensive wine list, and the food was always delicious and well prepared. It was so nice to have a gourmet breakfast and dinner every day. The rooms were a little dated in decor and the views from our rooms were obstructed. Unfortunately the pool was also very dated and there were no sun loungers and umbrellas for sitting by the pool, although this could easily be achieved on the deck above the pool. We loved the local beaches though, and excellent nearby walks. It's such a beautiful area. We are already talking about when we can return to Jonah's

We had stayed at Jonah's nearly ten years ago, and enjoyed our stay but found it a little old fashioned & 'clubbie'. So were we a little non plussed when we received a Xmas gift voucher from our children for Jonah's. Our stay on Australia Day exceeded our expectations & we had a thoroughly enjoyable 20 hours. Jonah's had their annual party on when we arrived, which we had been forewarned so we couldn't slip out on the terrace to drink our 'complimentary' Bollinger but saved it for our dinner reservation. Managed to see a few celebrities to add a little excitement. We had a room in the seperate house which was away from the party & overlooked the pool to Whale Beach. I think it was cleanest motel room I have ever stayed in. It was immaculate & full credit to housekeeping staff. Dinner was exceptional beginning [as mentioned] with the Bollinger & 'complementary' tasting plate. The rest of the three course meal [with 'complimentary' bread] was the same very high standard, & more importantly simply delicious. And once again, enjoying breakfast from the front window, the food was exquisite. And to continue the excellence of our stay, all staff were professional, polite, friendly & engaging. From Yvette who welcomed us & then farewelled us, to the dining/wait staff. And whoever is recruiting is on a winning formula. Staff can really impact an experience, but Jonah's staff only enhanced our stay. At dinner, bed & breakfast rate of $1300+ for one night, it is not cheap. And I was a little sceptical on the 'complimentary' bits & bobs - I have paid for them all!! Jonah's is a special occasion place [well it is for us from the country] but we are determined to save our pennies & stay again...sooner rather than later. Thoroughly recommend.

My husband and I finished off our trip to Sydney with a two night stay at Jonah Hotel and had the most amazing stay. The amazing staff made it so easy to relax and the setting and our room were so lovely and special. The views are incredible and the food at the restaurant is spectacular. We enjoyed our stay so much and it truly was special!

The Jonah's team are experts in caring for their guests, right from the moment of booking, through to departure. We were greeted by people who had taken the trouble to be aware of the occasion we were celebrating and who made us feel very special. The rooms are very nicely appointed, the dining room superb. Food excellent, the souffle to die for!

All class. Exceptional views, service & food. We did the Dinner, Bed & Breakfast deal & for a mini-break for us parents living only a 30min drive away it was a great option we will definitely do again. Can't think of any negatives except perhaps the decor is a little dated but then so are we ;-)

We stayed last weekend for our five year wedding anniversary…we got married here as well! Couldn’t fault it. Wonderful food (especially the new risotto!), those killer views, but what makes Jonah’s so special is always the wonderful staff! They really went beyond to make us feel special. If you are looking for somewhere wonderful not too far from Sydney…then this is the place!

Great stay, top level service through check in to dining to check out. Rooms were cleaned well. We extend our compliments particularly to the restaurant team. We look forward to another stay in the future.
