羅薩利亞飯店(Hotel Rosalia)

Por trabajo el día de hoy he tenido que ir a Padrón (Galicia). Mientras que esperaba para ir al lugar donde tenía que trabajar decidí entrar en la cafetería del hotel Rosalía para comer algo y poder tener una reunión virtual. Mi sorpresa fue mayúscula cuando en mitad de la reunión que estaba manteniendo por ZOOM las dos personas que estaban atendiendo en la cafetería me indican que tengo que callarme que molesto a dos clientas que estaban en la barra pidiendo alguna consumición. Debido a ello tuve que abandonar la reunión y en el momento que pago mi consumición le muestro mi malestar por la interrupción diciéndoles que nunca en mi vida en ningún lugar me han dicho que no puedo tener una reunión virtual, momento en el que me dicen “esto no es una oficina”. En la hora que pasé en el local consumí 2 aguas, un bocadillo y un café. Puede ser que no les pareciese suficiente. Pésimo servicio y pésima gestión de la relación con el cliente.

Lokalizacja na obrzeżu Padron. Tuż przy stacji kolejowej. Z hotelu jest skrót do Camino, więc niewiele się nadrabia. Mimo sąsiedztwa w nocy było bardzo cicho. Pokój mieliśmy duży i wygodny. Tylko potrzebuję patentu na rolety. JAK TO SIĘ OPUSZCZA!!! :). Do łazienki też nie można się przyczepić. W hotelu jest restauracja, więc na kolację niekoniecznie trzeba udawać się do centrum Padron (choć ja polecam). Bardzo miła obsługa - zarówno w recepcji jak też na sali śniadaniowej. W cenie śniadania. Śniadanie bardzo podstawowe. Dwa plasterki sera, dwa szynki, bułka, croissant, dżem, sok. Bufet to nie jest. Może 9 jest trochę na wyrost, ale w sumie bardzo dobrze wypocząłem, więc czego chcieć więcej :).

Hotel sencillo y cómodo con personal amable y atento. Habitaciones amplias y cómodas para descansar después de la penultima etapa del caminó Portugués. Hotel súper limpió y al lado de la Casa museo Rosalía de Castro. Se encuentra frente a la estación de tren, pero la verdad no se oían ruidos. Sin duda cumplió mis expectativas

Son muy atentos, el hotel está muy limpio, la habitación es muy amplia y con buenas vistas a Padrón. Yo repito el año próximo. Es verdad que está a unos 500mts centro, pero es un paseo y merece la pena llegar. Luego enlaza muy bien con el camino de Santiago

This hotel doesn’t look like much on the photos but it was much better than we had anticipated. I think the rooms might have been renovated recently and they were a lot more comfortable than we thought they would be. Stayed here for one night whilst hiking the Camino and it was perfectly comfortable. The hotel is right next to the train station however you honestly don’t notice the trains at all. I don’t know if we got luckily but there weren’t many trains. The shower was very odd, it’s above the bath which is fine but placed right in the centre facing outward so water just goes everywhere. Unfortunately the food was the worst part of this hotel and the worst we had experienced on the Camino. It’s a bit of a walk into town and after a full day hiking in the rain we were so relieved when the hotel said they provided food, however… initially we were told we could eat in the newly renovated bar which was nice and warm but then we were moved to the restaurant next door. This was fine except the restaurant is quite run down and absolutely freezing! We ate dinner in our jackets and coats it was that cold. There wasn’t much choice of food, you could pick a starter, main and dessert but a drink wasn’t included and drinks had to be collected from the bar. Between 4 of us we’d ordered chicken, beef and cod. There seemed to be a lot of complaints from other guests about the chicken as were weren’t sure it actually was chicken. The food on the whole was flavourless, the cod wasn’t cooked properly and was served with three tiny, very watery potatoes. The breakfast was also the worst we’d had and the drinks were the most expensive we had on our Camino. Definitely wouldn’t return or would go out to eat if I did.

I landed up enjoying staying here more than I thought I would. It is in a strange location quite far out of town and off the Camino trail where I finished that day. It is on the side of a railway track with trains coming by regularly in the day. This proved quite novel in the end and the trains do not seem to come past all night long. The restaurant area downstairs was very nice and modernly decorated. The diner was great - wholesome good food. The service was very good from the restaurant and from reception. The room was nice and spacious and had a mobile aircon. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom small but it felt new and clean. I wouldn't go back to Padron but this turned out better than I thought it would for staying there!

This is not a good location to stay in for the convenience of enjoying the town. It’s remote. No air conditioning. Some of the staff seems put out with travelers questions. As the final stop on the Camino, it could have better accommodated the peregrinos’ needs. Best to stay closer to town.

This hotel is directly across from the train station, however the trains don't run at night so there is no noise problem. No air conditioning so you have to keep the windows open. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. It's about .75 miles (1/2 km) from the Camino.

A little out of town but still a great location for walking the Camino. The roosters made quite a racket in the morning telling us all it was time to get up and walk.
