Goed hotel prima voor een nachtje verblijf en prima service

Should’ve informed me it will cost Euro20 for one hr late Checkout when requested, not upon checkout

Super hotel, in de binnenstad van Haarlem. 24/7 open. Jammer dat er twee bedden naast elkaar stonden, enige minpunt!

Fijne ligging midden in het centrum. Als je dat niet gewend bent, moet je wel wennen aan het geluid van de meeuwen en kerkklokken, maar verder een net hotel met prima ontbijt. In avond werden we niet echt hartelijk ontvangen, wellicht was het bijna einde dienst, maar in ochtend vriendelijk te woord gestaan bij uitchecken. Zou hier zeker week heen gaan.

Het hotel is erg gehorig, gedurende de nacht veel last gehad van dichtslaande deuren, zelfs van andere verdiepingen. Het toppunt was een medewerker die om 1.00 uur ‘‘s nachts de kratten buiten ging zetten. Dat ging zeker niet zachtjes! Het personeel zit er vooral voor zichzelf, weinig gemerkt van een dienstverlenende houding. Je moet vooral niet iets vragen of opmerken, want dan krijg je een preek. Het ontbijt is gemiddeld.

This hotel is situated right in the heart of the beautiful town square, in the shadow of the stunning St Bavo's church. I have stayed in this area a few times, and thought it might be a little noisy with the market on, but it was so quiet and comfortable inside. The hotel itself is very nice, and the Christmas decorations were so pretty. The market stalls were right outside the hotel and all around the town. Haarlem is beautiful all year round, and I would definitely stay in the Ambassador again.

This hotel has a excellent location. When we entered the hotel my wife asked how much we were paying to stay because the area and lobby was excellent. Once we entered our room she said some other things. There was a stain on the carpet just as we entered the room that made us look at the carpet more closely and we think that they should have replaced it already. The walls had marks all over and the curtains were dirty.The room had a nice size, shower was nice if you like drying the entire bathroom floor after using it. It was almost completely open to the rest of the bathroom. Our room had a vent pipe beside it and we listened to the air flow when ever it was quiet in the room. Fantastic location!
