瓦加杜古布拉維亞飯店(Bravia Hotel Ouagadougou)

This is a generic-style hotel. The rooms are clean, and quiet. For an upmarket hotel in a typical west African city it's ok, but compared to the same kind of hotel in, say Europe or the US, it's a bit run-down, and overpriced. The entrance is intimidating... you enter a security area where your luggage is scanned before you get to the front doors.. but this is for the sake of security in a country that is undergoing some political upheavals. The staff are very friendly, and many speak pretty good English. The swimming pool looks really inviting although I didn't use it. I was unimpressed with the restaurant. I ate dinner there three times, and every time the food was heavy, over-seasoned, and without culinary finesse. It was edible, but not satisfying. The buffet spread for breakfast had some marvellous tasting fruit, and some decent pastries, but the warm food was also over-seasoned and heavy. They accept credit card payments, and there is a working ATM in the lobby. The two small outside bar areas are quite nice to spend part of your evening. The beer is always cold, and they do make really excellent pommes-frites... I HIGHLY recommend asking for some fresh chilli (piment) with your fries. You will get freshly chopped chillies and garlic in peanut oil which is truly delicious on fries.

Nessuno è venuto a prendermi in aeroporto, come concordato. Ho scelto questo hotel perché arrivavo di notte e mi hanno confermato il pick up. All’arrivo c’erano solo I pick up dell’hotel Splendid e Palm beach con tanto di cartello. I driver si conoscono e ho chiesto se avevano visto il loro collega del Bravia Hotel. Hanno controllato anche nel parcheggio e purtroppo non c’era nessuno dell’hotel Bravia! Arrivata in hotel (grazie al passaggio del driver dell’hotel Splendid) il receptionist di turno ha continuato a dirmi che il driver era in aeroporto (ma non l’ha mai chiamato per dirgli di rientrare!!! Strano e ancora più strano nessuno l’ha visto in aeroporto!) e in barba al customer service e senza scusarsi per l’accaduto in aeroporto ha preteso il pagamento immediato della stanza, nonostante avessi chiesto di poter pagare il giorno successivo poiché intendevo anche pranzare c/o la loro struttura.

Отель известной сети Bravia hotels, находится недалеко от аэропорта. Номер взял полулюкс, но мебель была старая, абсолютно точно требуется ренновация отеля. Есть небольшой бассейн, который почти всегда в тени из-за безграмотного расположения вглубине "колодца". Единственное, что порадовало - тренажёрный зал, действительно хорошо оснащённый.

This is where I will always stay when visiting Ouaga. The dining room is open for lunch and dinner and the food is great! My room was very comfortable. The gym is so fantastic, probably the best gym that I have ever seen in a hotel and Eric the trainer is in the gym to help. You can also sit on the 5th floor terrace and relax.

Nice place. Very clean and inviting atmosphere with very friendly and helpful staff. Food is good and prices fair. They even brought a cake to my room and wished me a happy birthday on my birthday. Definitely worth staying here.

The hotel is very close to the airport and has a airport pick up and drop facility. It is close to the equivalent of high streets for Ouagadougou and is safe. The staff is very friendly including the reception, the restaurant and the guest relations manager. The rooms are a little small but well appointed with high quality furniture, toiletries etc. There was a coffee kettle as well as a nespresso in the executive rooms. They have a separate Indian chef and menu which was very helpful for vegetarians. Normally in west Africa I am limited to a margherita pizza in the restaurants but here, I could eat different things every day for a whole week without repeating myself. They also have an atm in the hotel and another 2 just outside which makes it more comfortable and safe in the visit.

La position de l'hôtel entre l'aéroport et le quartier d'affaires est parfaite. Chambres confortables et spacieuses (bien qu'un peu vieillotes) . Personnel très serviable et surtout un restaurant qui offre des plats délicieux et variés. Le bar du cinquième offre une vue magnifique .une salle de fitness au troisième pour les sportifs. Les débits de l'eau et d'internet doivent être améliorés.

Overall experience Good. Pros - just besides the airport - free shuttle service - plenty of vegetarian options to eat - good security - jet spray in washroom - proper plugs Cons - mosquitoes in the restaurant - dim lighting in restaurant

J'ai adoré mon séjour à l'hôtel Bravia. Le personnel est très accueillant et il y a tout ce qu'il vous faut à l'hôtel. J'y reviendrais sans hésiter. La nourriture est bonne et les prix sont abordables. On s'y sent bien. 5/5
