奧托佩尼憲章飯店(Hotel Charter Otopeni)

Stayed here on route to my destination for one night, based on the advertisement that there was a shuttle bus to and from the airport however this was not true and ended up paying another €15 to get there from the airport which was about 5 mins away , was told the next day that the shuttle does not collect but drops off at the airport however you need to book 24 he's in advance , I tried this even contacting trip.com customer service who also tried to reach the hotel via the phone number they had provided however this is wrong and there is another number available at the front desk , Breakfast was average and again a separate payment of €8 from a very unfriendly staff member who flat out denied I had breakfast included which is what I paid for , so in the end £50 for a room in a ****ty part of town with miserable staff , ( the chap who checked me in that night was the only friendly and helpful person ) Overall not worth it should of stayed in a better place , I do not understand why people who have no compassion or respect for other human beings work in public places that involve dealing with customers ...??? Find somewhere else !!

Not a very welcoming treatment from some of the Staff

Hotel comodo per la vicinanza con l aeroporto e le terme. A 15 minuti dal centro di Bucarest con prezzi contenuti. Ma la pulizia non è il loro forte. È rimasto allo stile degli anni '80 con la moquette per terra che emana odore di sporco. La colazione non è continentale e la cosa ci ha stupito essendo un hotel dove vengono molti turisti essendo, ripeto, vicino l aeroporto. Non avendo usufruito della colazione per noi è stato scomodo poiché nelle vicinanze non c'è nulla a meno di 1,5 km. Abbiamo risolto cercando un bistrot su Google e chiamando un uber ma devo dire che la cosa lo penalizza. Noi abbiamo alloggiato 2 notti ma la mattina dopo la prima la camera non è stata pulita. Il letto non è stato rifatto, ci hanno lasciato solo degli asciugami puliti sul letto disfatto. Coperta, tende e moquette piene di polvere. Tosse tutta la notte. Bagno senza bidet con un lavandino minuscolo ed una doccia piccolissima. Ho apprezzato che ci abbiamo fatto trovare al nostro arrivo una bottiglia da 2 L di acqua ma per il resto lo consiglio solo se si deve alloggiare vicino all aeroporto e per un massimo di 2 notti.

Una auténtica vergüenza, Sucio, la cortina caída, nos encontramos la habitación sin limpiar y las camas no estaban hechas, ni habían puesto el gel de la ducha, sin servicio de ningún tipo. No merece la categoría de tres estrellas.

I'd be generous to give this a three-star rating, following a late arrival to the airport no one was answering the telephone to request an airport transfer with our luggage after two attempts so we made our own way via an Uber. The checkin was okay, entrance is unusual and small, luckily we had an airport transfer the next morning. Rooms are un-operational, outdated, small and dim lit. The shower was faulty so meant I had to hold it in one hand as it wouldn't fix in place, very shabby interior and decor - rest of the bathroom was just satisfactory with a few toiletries provided. Breakfast was however decent, via a menu card with choices given, basic but nicely presented and tasty. Service is lacking, no clear instructions, although English can be spoken and interpreted. Beds were reasonable, WiFi was working too, luckily. You can survive with this hotel, if you're looking for a night's stay at most.

It was a decent hotel for the price. The rooms were a good size, but definitely outdated. We stayed for one night for the proximity to the airport. The front desk attendant was nice enough and set everything up for our complimentary trip to the airport the next morning. It is about a 20 minute taxi ride to the Old City of Bucharest. Beware of price gouging from taxis when going places in the evenings.
